Bed and pillows fine but room pretty run down condition. Bathroom door barely close able, curtain old and hard to completely cover the window. Breakfast barely ok.

Mostly Good

The hotel was your basic freeway side motel, but it was a little dated. That was okay. When I went to use the restroom I opened the toilet and found a piece of tissue and floating next to it was a curly hair (not from the scalp). I was grossed out, but I was so tired I didn’t wanna complain and then have to switch rooms or anything so I didn’t say anything. I also feel badly because people are only human and mistakes are made. It was just a little shocking (that is really too strong of a word) and I get grossed out easily.

Overall, it was a decent stay. Thw room was big and the beds were good. The bathroom is small, but manageable. The main complaint is the “free” breakfast is only until 9 am (most end at 10 am). So we only made it to 1 breakfast. The coffee in the room and the breakfast center was bad! But the coffee truck in the parking lot was delicious (just had to pay for it).

A very shady Hotel

Booked my room throughhotels.com did the online check-in where it said my credit card would not be charged yet after I checked in my card was charged for a night after I had already paid I called to have the charges reversed which they were only to be charged again the next night and had to call again to get the charges reversed once I got the credit on my card I locked my card and they tried to charge me a third time very dishonest especially for doing the online check-in it's saying that my card will not be charged yet they tried to charge me three times an extra charge for the room

The Ramada facilities and rooms were really nice and clean. The only problem we had was the person who checked us in. She was very rude and not guest-oriented. We arrived at 1:30pm (1.5 hrs prior to checkin time). At 99% of the hotels I've stayed at in Cedar City and the rest of the world for the past 40 years, they will typically allow you to check in when it is that close to checkin time. I understand hotel policies and being the entry level person who does not have authority to make exceptions. What I didn't understand was when I asked if we could checkin and get our keys then not enter the room until after 3pm, she said, "I can't do that for the safety of our employees. Who knows if you decided to go in ahead of time." She was blunt and rude and unlike all of the other employees we encountered. Please invest in some training and recruiting people who are more naturally polite, well-mannered and kind for the Front Desk.

Overall bad value. This was so much worse than other 2.5 star hotels we stayed at during the same trip. Check in time is 3pm, we arrived a few minutes after 3pm and the receptionist told us the room wasn't ready. She didn't volunteer any information when the room would be ready. We came back an hour later, and were given a room that stank of smoke. I complained about this right away, and we did get another room that was ok. This hotel is old (maybe from the 80s) and it definitely shows. Everything is worn down, the furniture is scratched, drawer didn't open, etc. It's clean, though. The breakfast on the second day, a bit before 8am (breakfast time was from 6 - 9am) was almost completely empty (we got the last two slices of toast). In part because a tour bus group was there, in part because the person taking care of the breakfast area had a nice chat with the receptionist.

Nice sized room. Jacuzzi tub took almost an hour to fill up. There were empty pistachio shells behind tv which I found gross. We upgraded to the suite which had 3 windows -they look right down to the front desk so did not open them much - guests were always looking up when I looked down there totally awkward. I checked out online for 11 and they stopped my key card around 9. Just the little things but stay was ok
