Our family of 6 stayed here for one night on our way to visit Philadelphia. It was a good location for us - only about 40 minutes outside the city. The host was very proactive ahead of check-in and there was even a sign welcoming our crew. It was a nice touch. For the most part, the stay at this cozy spring house was good. However, it was made less cozy by the consistent presence of some type of crickets. We dropped our things off on Friday afternoon then went out until the evening. When we came back around 9:00 or so, we found a cricket of some sort hanging on the curtains in the bathroom. Not a big deal. Except we kept finding them over the course of the next few hours. Every time we would get settled, we'd see another one. My sons killed at least 15 of them by the time we went to bed. Needless to say, none of us slept very well. I did contact the host after our stay to let them know the situation and that they might want to spray for insects more regularly. While our family probably wouldn't stay here again based on our experience, I don't want to scare you away. I'd like to think our experience was unusual. It is a cozy little house perfect for a night or two.

We absolutely LOVED it here! The house was so cute and cozy and everything we wanted and needed! It’s close to everything we wanted to do in the area! The host was beyond amazing, responding quickly anytime we had a question and was so kind! We had a wonderful time at this house and wish we could have stayed even longer! 5 stars all around!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay and especially the outdoor area. The house is very old but with the additions there’s plenty of room for family. The only downfall we both experienced is the location is right off of a busy road making it very loud at night and difficult to stay asleep. The host always decorates in a fun, eclectic way that I enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. Overall, the location is very close to many tourist destinations and only a short drive from the restaurants in the area.

Cozy Stay

We were in town for a wedding nearby and this cozy cottage fit the bill for our needs. It's certainly a quirky little property, but that adds to the charm. Plenty of everything you would need for your stay.

Cozy Spot

This location offers great access to Longwood Gardens and other cute spots in town. This location was super cute and very cozy. The only downsides to this spot was that the bedrooms are all in close proximity and the beds and pillows were firm. The host made sure our stay was welcome and kept good communication with us! I would recommend this location!

Magical Chadds Ford Cottage

This cozy Spring House Cottage was the perfect romantic getaway for me and my wife. The cottage was quaint, rustic, very comfortable and very easy to find. We were visiting friends nearby and wanted a local hopping off spot to visit the Brandywine River Museum. Our host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. A delightful find !
