Such a wonderful place to stay! Super quiet, away from the hustle of Chamonix but close enough to walk in if you like a 30min walk or catch a bus/train from nearby. Everything you need to cook for yourself, great views and the loveliest of hosts, couldn’t recommend more!

The Simond’s place was immaculate and conveniently located next to bus stops and the Les Bossons train station. The views of the Mont Blanc massif are insane. Joel and his wife are wonderful and kind hosts, offering to drive me to Chamonix Sud and to the grocery store when needed. It was an honor staying at their place for 5 nights with warm hospitality.

Another great stay…

My third time staying here which should say enough. What I will cover in this review is the transportation in and out of Les Bossons. A short walk from the chalet you have the bus stop but even more convenient is the Mont Blanc train… this goes from Saint Gervais to Vallorcine and departs Les Bossons each hour… As a skier I used it to go to Les Houches, Saint Gervais and Flegere… as well as frequent trips to Chamonix. You can go to Vallorcine (Le Tour) and Grand Montets… Anyway, the location of the chalet and access to transport is spot on. Enjoy!

The perfect base for exploring the mountains

Spacious for two people. Good kitchen/dining area. Cutlery pots, pans kettle etc all provided. A few steps down at the entrance. The accommodation is under the owners Chalet. The owners are a delightful couple. Tidy shower room. We were off climbing much of the time and needed a comfy base between peaks. The cost of this property in Sept, was little more than camping and a whole lot better. Parking on the property. Fantastic view of Mont Blanc as we stepped out of the car.

Nice place to stay in the Chamonix valley

Joel's chalet is a nice place for staying in the Chamonix valley. The windows open to a nice view of the mountains (note that the room is actually towards the backside of the chalet, the photos might give a different impression). Clean and tidy, the chalet had all the basic amenities for cooking meals. Bring your own linen/towels if you don't want to pay an extra 15-25 euros though. Also, bring your own toiletries. Regarding connectivity, there is a bus stop a short 5 minute walk away, with connections to the city centre every 30 minutes. The train station is also close to the bus stop with the Mont Blanc express running through it every hour. Overall, a very calm, peaceful place. Recommended!

Nous avons passé un super séjour aux bossons dans la dépendance de Joël et Christine.Nous avons êtes accueillis chaleureusement et avons pu trouvé conseils auprès d’eux.Le logement est niquel, propre et bien équipé et très bien placé dans la vallée de Chamonix. Schöne kleine Wohnung

Die kleine Wohnung liegt wunderschön am Fuße des Mont Blanc. Ein Schritt aus der Haustür und die weißen Gipfel leuchten einem entgegen. Atemberaubend. Der Ort liegt nur wenige Minuten von Chamonix entfernt und ist leicht erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist klein, aver mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Eine Reise wert!
