The property is in very good shape. There are a few minor things that need to be done. On the first floor when exiting to the side parking lot there are some very filthy cloth chairs that no one would want to sit in. Those need to be cleaned or pitched. Pool and spa was sparkling. Although the pool was a bit cold and not heated enough. I never liked a hotel room without carpeting. This one did not have carpeting. I usually don't stay at a hotel without it. But it worked out and the room was clean. As with most of these chain hotels they have streamlined the breakfast. And I mean streamline. There were good small banana and cinnamon cupcakes. The milk was good. The coffee was excellent. But just too few items for breakfast. Since I'm a cancer patient and we got to Tuscola early, I asked if we could check in early. At first they wanted to charge me. And I said I could not do that that we would just have to stay here waiting in the lobby. The front hostess was gracious enough to evidently email her boss concerning my situation, and they allowed us to check in early which was extremely appreciated. The parking was very safe, and you are near the interstate if you want to go to a game in Champaign. I think this is the best place to stay as it is more reasonable than staying in champaign. And it is just 20 minutes away or so. There are good restaurants including a Burger King very near the hotel. Downtown tuscola is something that is unique, although very small.

Clean quiet and staff was courteous and efficient. I was in town for Dad’s weekend and this was a good cost alternative for the grossly inflated prices in Champaign. I’d rather take my daughter on a vacation than spend 500-1000 per night in a chain motel that is normally 100-120/night. I drove an extra 25 min to get a perfectly nice room at 1/4the price. Will do it again

The bed was comfortable. The air and heat worked good. Liked that curtains went down all the way. Liked the soap, lotion and conditioner. That was a nice touch. Wish the bathroom mold was not there. The tub made loud cracking noises. Was a little scary. Also, it looked like all the mirrors and TV were cleaned with something oily. I took a dry cloth and cleaned them.

The tub did not drain. We traveled with our 16 year. Only one of us was able to shower. Behind nightstand was disgusting. Candy wrappers and dust from 5 years ago. Room door hallow you can hear everything
