Getaway

My room was located next to the linen room, and throughout the night, my wife and I were disturbed by constant noise from moving equipment. As a result, we got very little—if any—sleep. Additionally, the toilet stopped working and I had to repair it twice during our stay. The body wash dispenser was also empty. My wife and I have stayed at this location many times and have always appreciated the experience, but this particular visit was disappointing. Sincerely, Don Johnson

We stayed here for 3 nights and it far exceeded our expectations. It was conveniently located (minutes from capitol one arena for concert, 10 mins from beach and lots of cute dining options. Besides that, the front desk staff was beyond amazing. So kind and helpful. My 13 year old asked if she could buy the shampoo and conditioner they have in the rooms and the next day there was a gift bag for her with shampoo and conditioner. Our family loves Charleston and will definitely come back to this hotel again.

This property was very clean. The staff was friendly. And the location is great. If you're looking for convenience without the cost of Charleston, you can't go wrong here. My only complaint was regarding the mattress and that's just a personal preference. It seemed to be a foam mattress, which many people love. However, I prefer a firm mattress. If that doesn't bother you, then this is the place to stay!

Would Stay Again in a Heartbeat!

This was a great location for our first time visit to Charleston, SC. It was minutes from a variety of touring interests, especially Boone Hall Plantation (a must-see). We were convenient to historic tour offerings of the city and then able to retreat to the less congested affordable Mount Pleasant area for dining and lodging. The Cambria is a modern, immaculate facility with the friendliest staff. Sunshine at the front desk was the best and in text communication daily to make sure our stay accommodations were being met. We were very impressed with the attention and services offered at this price-point.
