Perfect place to stay, tons of local places to hit up. 5 min drive to water front. Great little hidden spot and owner always responded to every question within minutes.
Overall the stay was great! Clean and cozy! Would definitely stay there again! Nice easy walk to King Street where everything is at. Just a few things about the place that made me give it 4 stars and not 5. The water pressure in the shower was very fast. If you have a sun burn, it would not be good. The toilet barely flushed as if it lacked pressure. If those 2 things could be fixed, it would be great! We could not sit outside in the evening. It was a shame because it was a very cozy spot. The mosquitos were terrible at that time. If they could stock some citronella candles, im sure that would help. Overall, great little place close to town with all the shops! The things mentioned above are small things and maybe personal preference. But like i said before, we would stay there again!!
We had a great stay! The place was perfect for us and our fur baby. The property had everything we needed. Shower had excellent water pressure! Would definitely recommend for anyone spending some time in Charleston. We walked everywhere from our guest room!
Quaint little house that was quiet and clean thatâs within walking distance to most Charleston attractions. Close parking in public garage, but just need to plan for it.
This property is so cute and has everything you could need for 2 people. The air conditioning is great, the bed is comfortable the water pressure in the shower is perfect. Decorated so nice. Coffee is so good. Thank you! Very safe to walk day and night to town. About a 40 minute walk to The Battery and 30 minute walk to the market and restaurants in that area. We just found out as we were leaving that the public bus is right around the corner. That would be easy. Parking throughout Charleston is a challenge. This unit does not have a parking space so you need to park in the parking deck on King Street which is an 8 minute walk, and 24/day. It was fine for us. You can unload your car at the unit. We really enjoyed it.
Really cute cottage right near downtown- loved it. Only thing there was some loud music playing during the day that was clearly heard but it did quiet down. Would reccomend!
Everything is great but the parking- Charleston is not a vehicle friendly town. Recommended to park at the closest garage which will charge you more if you leave the garage. Ended up being 48 a day! The front unit will allow them to park- then you have to turn sideways to walk past, messing up your clothes and almost impossible to load your stuff up! Unless you are flying and ubering in, skip this one! Place is cute though!
Property was as expected, bed comfy and felt private and safe. We stayed a long weekend so this did not impact us much but there was a fair amount of construction noise early Monday morning. It is a walkable distance to several dinning options and shopping.
The cottage was clean and well stocked. The only issue was the parking alley, that is the only way to access the property, was blocked by two cars by the people in front of us and there literally was no room to get by with trying to carry your things to thecottage.
Loved the place. Central to where our family activities were. Parking could be a challenge. Two suggestions, need more shelving in the bathroom (space above toilet) and a small folding dish drying rack in kitchen.
We had a great stay in Charleston. The space is tiny but was a great home base to come back to after exploring the area each day. Some restaurants are walkable and some of the cool sights we visited were only a short drive away. We loved having our dog with us here too. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It had everything we needed to prepare and heat up meals easily, and having a parking spot off the street was very convenient. Thanks for hosting us, we enjoyed our stay!
