The location of the property was lovely. very close to restaurants, downtown - exactly what we wanted. Check in was smooth and easy. Parking cost was revealed AFTER check in - 25 per day that was not disclosed in the listing. It was easy to communicate with the host via text and phone call and they were responsive with needs. Unfortunately, the apartment was not cleaned well and there were several issues while staying there - several broken pieces of furniture and cockroaches. The internal HVAC systems drip water and they attract cockroaches. One was seen while we were eating dinner in the living room and upon further inspection there was a dead cockroach behind the couch. The host treated this as if it was a normal thing- that somehow I as a visitor, should be accepting of roaches in the apartment because they are common in the area. The host did come to treat the next day but was not able to place us in another location while they did so. We would not have stayed after finding the cockroaches but because it was a holiday weekend we were unable to find alternative lodging with such short notice. No compensation or recompense was offered, nor any follow up from the host after the treatment was performed. Overall the stay was lovely, but we would not stay with this company again.
