We really enjoyed staying at your property last week. The location was perfect for easy access to the interstate and for traveling around the Charleston area. Parking was very convenient and all the homeâs rooms were spacious and comfortable. Also having a full kitchen allowed us to prepare and enjoy our own home-cooked meals. The only concern we had during our stay was about the missing slats in the patio door blinds but overall we had a great time on our trip to WV.
The host was great and did communicate well. This is a PERFECT location near the Colosseum and shops and restaurants downtown. We were there during the winter and it was heated very well. This place is great, but it needs some TLC. The blinds need repaired And updated,( ripped and broken a little to where people can see in ) when I closed the bedroom door behind the door there was something splattered on the wall and the toilet in the main bedroom needed to be attended to much better.( underneath seat) Thereâs only one small lamp in each room and I just feel like the lighting could be better and the lampshades were ripped and torn on the inside . The trashcan lid was broken, which isnât a major thing but itâs the little things that really could make this place amazing. The stuffing was coming out of the couch because there was a hole in the material. The water pressure in the showers are very hard and fast, which fill up the bathtub pretty quickly when youâre in there. All in all, it suits its purpose and was great for the price.
I was contacted by the owner that he had to cancel my reservation the day of because the renters before had completely destroyed the place. He had to replace numerous items because of what happened. I have since spoken to the owner and he is making this right. That says a lot about him. My friend and I are going to rent here again because the owner reached out to us, and he is putting his customers first.
The location was ok. Instructions for entering the property were incomplete so we couldnât get door opened. After two hours of trying to reach host we finally stumbled on to how to get the door opened. Not what we needed after a long day of travel.
Nice, but dated property. Front porch light switch was broken when we arrived. Needs to be replaced. We were able to get it to turn off after fiddling with. It is a convenient property, but aging. Suited our needs for needing more than one bedroom. Equivalent to a 3 star hotel stay in my opinion.
The property was pretty clean. The carpet needed replaced. The living room couch and loveseat were bad. Broken down and torn. The shower curtain in the main bathroom had a lot of mildew. Blinds to windows and door were all broken and made it easy for people to see inside. Kitchen has very minimal supplies. Had to buy an aluminum pan to use to cook chicken and vegetables in the oven. It was quiet and clean otherwise. The beds were very comfortable. One suggestionâŠI am in my 60âs and not very tall, had a terrible time getting in the bed. Itâs high. Maybe add a step stool.
Perfect location, clean home. Only privileged was no skillet or griddle for breakfast cooking and that it said that 5 could sleep. No pull out in the couch, but Cortina we had an inflatable.
Front door knob needs fixed. The lock works fine but the door handle bolt doesnât pull in all the way when opening from the outside. It makes it difficult to open the door. Just FYI for an easy fix for the next guest. ThanksClint
Love the location especially if going to a concert or event at Charleston Civic Center. You can walk from the house! Home is a bit older, but reflected in the price. Very affordable
The neighborhood was a great location for concerts at the coliseum. Lacking proper Air conditioning, condo got up to 77 degrees. Unable to turn down at thermostat. Needs 2 new mini blinds in the living room. Originals that are up have broken slats. Condo could use a skillet and more cups /glasses. Prime location.
The stay was great, awesome location. within walking distance to the show. The only downside there know nice spot for dinner had to leave the area for dinner.
Everything was wonderful. The only possible issue is that the couches needed a bit of repair. Probably done by prior guests. It was perfect for our business meetings! Thank you!
Perfect location to walk to concert at Charleston Convention center. Older town home but clean and perfect for a night stay and great place for infant to stay with his Pops while others went to concert.
