The house was just as described in the listing. Kitchen was well stocked including a nice coffee station! Communication with the host was great. Parking is a bit tricky- the driveway is narrow but doable and street parking was almost always full. Other than that the stay was great!
Well appointed home, clean and comfortable with many amenities. Off street parking is a huge asset in Charleston. Well priced with a very responsive team. This was our very first visit to Charleston so we had no clue as to locations. There was a jazz festival that weekend which most likely made hotel rates around the main area jump substantially. We may not have known the correct way to walk to Kings Street, maybe there was a shortcut we were unaware of. According to the listing it mentioned 18 minute walk, we did not experience that and used Uber a lot in this area. Our kids who are distance runners stated it is about a 30 minute walk from College of Charleston. The price per night was excellent, if you are budgeting a trip, just know you will want to add in some Uber rides, which are not expensive. We would stay here again. Just know it is further away from all the action and plan accordingly.
The house was perfect for our trip! It was a little further than I would have liked from King Street for walking , but overall was exactly what we needed.
We enjoyed our stay here very much. The property was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Communication was seamless. There was very prompt response and resolution to a small issue of the smoke detector chirping due to the need for new battery. Overall, no complaints. Iâd recommend this place to others.FYI for future travelers: Parking was tight for our larger vehicle and getting into the side yard space was challenging. We chose to use the street parking instead. Be aware Charleston streets can be very narrow and crowded. There were no luggage racks or places to put our baggage, except the bed or the floor. I took advantage of the hanging rack, but having a dresser or some way to easily live out of my suitcase would have been nice.
It was everything we hoped for. 5 high school friends 50 years out of school who travel together once a year loved it. TVs k you for sharing this adorable home with us!!!
Stayed at this great property the first week of October. We really enjoyed our stay here and loved how centrally located it was to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay here again. Great communication throughout also. The vacay team was very proactive and responsive the entire time. Loved Charleston!
The house was very clean and all the bedrooms had king size beds. The kitchen had everything needed for an extended stay. The location was minutes from the historic district and approximately 3 blocks from the Citadel. We had to contact the property mangement company on several occassions and they responded immediately. One issue we had was we locked ourselves out and they helped us from a phone call. I highly reccomend this historic cottage.
This property is perfect for your next Charleston vacay! The house was easily accessible and in a great central location to lots of popular Charleston attractions. Very spacious and clean, on a quiet street with friendly neighbors. Slept 6 very comfortably! The hosts were very communicative and helpful! If Iâm ever back in Charleston I would highly consider booking this property again to stay at.
Great place to split with friends. Walkable to King and all that (if your group is in reasonable walking shape). There is also a lot of great little restaurants and shops within a 10 minute walk. Great kitchen/living/dining situation for a group. Comfortable beds. The driveway is tight. No big deal for my Camry, but large SUVs and trucks might be a tight squeeze.
Very nice! The only thing that should be listed is that the thermostat cannot be set below 70 degrees. It was quite warm for me and I would have liked to know that prior to booking.
Though this property wasnât close to anything, the drive to everything is not far. This house is cute, clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We loved the hardwood floors too! so pretty. We were able to drive to the beach, the aquarium, Fort Sumter, and the pineapple fountain all within 20 minutes. We loved this house. Thank you for sharing it with us
I stayed with my husband, 19 year old daughter, cousin and his wife. The house is very lovely and beautifully decorated. Itâs super clean. The kitchen has everything you need and appliances are updated. The hardwood floors were gorgeous, as was the fireplace and front bedroom. The bed in the middle bedroom was uncomfortable, noisy and very low. The bedding was nice. The water pressure in showers was poor and the temperature of water in middle shower randomly went cold. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We had hoped it would be within walking distance to places, but it wasnât. We Uberâd most of the week so that we wouldnât lose our parking spot. Overall, the cottage was cute and we were happy with stay.
Went on a girls trip and had a fabulous time. The Agave is perfect - location was great and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were perfect for the 5 of us and I would highly recommend. The Charleston Vacays Team was FABULOUS too! Super communicative and informative. As a side note - would also highly recommend considering the Groceries Ahead service as well - pick out your groceries ahead of time and they deliver them and put them in your rental - it was a game changer!
