We absolutely loved our stay. The location could not have been more perfect. Being just steps away from everything on King Street made exploring Charleston so easy, and having Island Provisions coffee shop basically 20 steps away felt like our own little morning luxury. The home itself had so much character and warmth. One of my favorite parts was spending time looking through the incredible collection of books throughout the house. Some dated back to the 1700s and 1800s, which made the experience feel even more special and connected to Charleston’s history. I especially loved the First Ladies recipe book and the gardening books. I even stumbled across an old handwritten note tucked inside one, which honestly felt like finding a tiny piece of history. We were also incredibly lucky with the weather. No heavy heat or humidity, so we were able to keep the doors open and really enjoy the beautiful airflow and charm of the home. The layout worked perfectly for our group and felt comfortable, spacious, and relaxing. We did have one small hiccup with the Wi-Fi connection, but the hosts responded almost immediately and quickly provided us with another network. Communication was excellent from start to finish. This home gave us such a memorable Charleston experience, full of comfort, charm, history, and convenience. We would absolutely stay here again!
