Noise in the building is a little loud at times, especially dogs barking. It’s a pet friendly hotel and attracts alot of dog owners. It would be nice if they confined the animals to one floor. Someone on our floor left their dog in the room all day by himself and he was barking a lot. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast for a fee was reasonable and the common area in the lobby lounge is nicely decorated and comfortable. The beds and pillows were very comfortable for sleeping. Everything worked as it should in our room. I don’t recommend the shampoo, conditioner or body wash provided for people who are sensitive because they have a strong perfume scent.

Tried to check in at 5:30pm - long after official check in time - and room wasn't ready. After a long drive, that's the last thing i wanted to hear. Had to wait half an hour before room was ready. On entering the room, the AC/Heating unit was very loud and had to wait another half an hour before another room was found. Pretty lousy reception. Not even an apology or consideration for the inconvenience. Room was nice, comfy beds, clean. But the first (and 2nd) impressions left a bad taste.

The room was very clean and the location, close to the Ballantyne bowl, was very convenient. I have to commend one of the check in staff, Julie. She went above and beyond to assist with my needs.
