Road construction issue but good staff

The staff was nice but there was no notice that there was major road construction going on all night. Staff helped getting a new hotel but had to work through hotels,com to get a refund for the balance of the stay. It was not difficult but time consuming . We should have been offered a full refund since couldn’t sleep with the construction. Should have been told about it at check in.

I specifically asked for a quiet room close to an elevator due to my sister unable to walk far the front desk lady put us on the 1st floor all the way at the end of the hallway and the room was very loud as it was right next to the interstate. Our requests were not met in any way. When you tell somebody that a person has a disability and cannot walk far why would you put that person in a room at the very end of a hallway.

the room was clean, that’s a plus. but this is a tired place. check in was a nightmare - one person working and the couple in front of us was having the front desk person go through some unknown situation that lest us standing second in line for a solid 20minutes. and the couple in front of us eventually had to stand aside (unresolved). ni thank you is all i can say to the whole mess

Various alarms were going off for hours and the manager would not tell us what was happening, how long the alarms would be going off, or if the room would be refunded. We had small children who needed sleep!
