Bathroom was dirty including dirty towels. This was the 2nd room..1st smelled like smoke. Area was boring nothing to do. The shops next to were half empty either for lease or being worked on. Staff was nice.

I loved the shower being clean and no paint all over everything! The toilet was clean, just thought the design of the room was odd. There was no counter space for the toiletries so that was an issue, especially for 2 people. The breakfast was not cooked well or either bad from the store. The croissants were small, hard and definitely going bad. There were not good like the double tree WS university location. The fruit was going bad, the eggs were slimy, and the potatoes were too mushy, not solid at all. I could have bought a better breakfast, which is what we did the second morning of being at this location. Thank God we stayed the extra night because I was sick all day from the breakfast and needed a long nap to reset my body.

We were in town for the Dallas Cowboys and Panthers game and I must say the hotel checked all boxes for us and we will be staying here for every trip to Charlotte going forward! From the staff at the front desk, the bar staff down to the room attendants we were really impressed! We also like that it’s location is outside of the city so we don’t have to fight traffic to get in and get our daily! 10 stars!

Hotel is gorgeous! overlooking cute lake with a walkable boardwalk. gotta eat at Boardwalk Billys right on the water. outer surrounding areas a little less safe so stay around hotel and lake. room service excellent, fresh and delivered quickly! be sure to request a lake view room, it's worth it !!!!
