Girls trip

That was one of the experiences of renting the property. Woody was so generous with letting us use their coffee, tea, spices, paper plates, garbage bags. Everything was explained. They even came over when we could not find one of the beds to show us everything The house in cosy, we used kayaks and padle boards Fire pit was very welcoming too. It was plenty of space for our group of 15 women. 5 stars!

Woody and Cameron were awesome to deal with. The house had everything we needed. We were in town visiting with our children who attend college, so the location was perfect. We utilized all the house had to offer. What made it even better was communicating directly with the owners. I would highly recommend this property, we will be back.

The type of house you in see in movies!!!

What a spectacular home! Tucked away at the end of Lake Norman is the Allens home. A small private driveway leads you to the front door and wow! As you pass by the dining room to the huge kitchen and open den you can see the lake through the windows in the back. Open the back door in the kitchen and the back deck surrounds the back of the house and a pathway leads to the lake. Its incredible!! The decor of the house is beautiful. It definitely feels like you are your own HOME and not a vacation rental. Swings and a fire pit in the back were great for hanging out and laughing with family. The massive kitchen is a wonderful gathering place where people laugh and smile. Settling in was the simplest thing as it felt like we were returning home from a trip. Everything you will need is there, EVERYTHING! Mr. Allen responds quickly and communicates whenever you need him. The one negative was that we had to leave! If you are looking for a place where family can come together and spend an incredible time this is it! Thank you to the Allens for opening up your personal palace of a home!

Golf Trip

Our entire group was very pleased with the property and it more than exceeded our expectation. The home had everything we needed and was very clean and spacious. The host (Woody) responded very quickly to our questions as we prepared for our trip and was very responsive to a couple of questions during our stay. The patio and outside seating areas were very nice and the access to the water and use of some of their water equipment made for some late afternoon and early evening fun as we all wound down from our days of golf. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone who has a larger group (or family with kids), the number of bathrooms and bedrooms, as well as a separate room specifically setup for kids makes it a perfect place.

Th best of everything

This was by far one of our best lake vacation experiences. Starting with the host who was so kind and helpful. The house was beautiful and so well stocked. Being in a quiet cove with close access to larger water for skiing and tubing. Close to a grocery store. I mean what more can you ask for. Five stars all around.

Amazing Lake-house on Lake Norman

The trip was a total wow experience. The owner was amazing and communicated extremely well before and during the visit. The house is beautiful and has every possible convenience. We brought our own boat and docking was a breeze. Our family boated, and swam each day. Such a wonderful vacation- cannot wait to do a return trip!

Exactly what our family needed!!

I don’t have words to express how perfect our stay was at the Memory Maker!! The house was emasculate and Woody was the BEST host ever. The property is conveniently located to lake activities/amenities, dining and shopping. Highly recommend fishing from the dock!! A True Memory Maker

AMAZING home, host, & experience!!!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay here!! The entire group was raving about their beautiful home. It was clean and so homey. Woody was truly the best host I have worked with. His communication throughout the stay and leading up to it was so helpful. I believe a good host can make the experience even better, and he really did! They supplied so much for us since we were all out of state - lake towels, coolers, all paper products, cleaning supplies, coffee, and many other things. It’s a quick drive to grocery stories, restaurants, boat rentals. Fantastic outdoor space for entertaining! We loved sitting in the covered porch in the mornings with our coffee- it was so peaceful! Thank you for an incredible stay and experience! I’d love to come back!

Awesome lake house!

We had an amazing time at this lakefront home on beautiful Lake Norman! The kitchen and family room are large enough for the entire family to hang out! We spent most of our time outside on the covered patio and by the fire pit (when it wasn’t raining). The kids LOVED the bunk room and the hopping on the paddle boards/kayaks! The mattresses and bedding were super comfy! Woody was an amazing host and we hope to return again!

Family quality time!

This home is well taken care of and in a great location. The property owner called ahead of our stay to introduce himself and to give us info regarding the home and our stay, and to let us know if we needed anything to give him a call. The house is well stocked with everything one would look for. Our family would definitely love to stay at the property again!

BEST VACATION PROPERTY I HAVE EVER STAYED IN

First off start with the HOSTS..they were attentive responsive but gave us our privacy. THEY WERE THE BEST..WHEN I SAY THIS PROPERTY HAS EVERYTHING...I MEAN EVERYYYYTHING..we are so use to traveling and providing different things for different homes..so I just bring everything my family needs...BUT THEY LITERALLY THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING...AND THE PICTURES DONT DO THE HOME ANY JUSTICE...ITS BEAUTIFUL AND HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR A VACATION...IT WAS THE MOST STRESS FREE STAY I EVER HAD...P.S. THE OPEN FLOOR PLAN ON THE MAIN FLOOR MAKES IT SO EASY FOR A WHEELCHAIR TO GET AROUND FOR ACCESSIBILITY..I WILL BE RETURNING

Perfect family getaway

This property was fantastic, as was the host! The house is clean, very comfortable, and well stocked. The host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our little family reunion. The cousins all stayed in the bunk bed room and had the best time. A beautiful property in a quiet, well kept neighborhood. Lots of room and all the amenities

Gem on the lake

Our group stayed at Cameron and Woodys place for a weekend getaway with friends. It’s a gorgeous home (pictures do not do it justice) with all the amenities you could ever need for a lake weekend. Flawless communication with the host. Loved having access to all the lake toys (floating mat, kayaks) and spent every evening on the back porch enjoying the weather and the sunsets. Big plus that all the outdoors lights are on timers—it creates the most beautiful ambiance! The kitchen was well equipped and we really appreciated the personal touches including the fresh flowers and the Cheerwine in the fridge. Would 100% recommend this home to anyone and we hope to stay again in the future!

Fabulous stay!

The home and property were both beautiful! Recently re-done. There is plenty of outdoor spaces for eating, sitting around the fire or hanging by the water. Woody was extremely friendly and responsive. He set out a few welcome gifts for our group to make us feel at home. Would absolutely rent again!
