This was a delightful property and just as advertised! We were visiting to look at UVA and the location was perfect. It's convenient to everything, a quiet neighborhood and just a cheerful and welcoming space. Would absolutely stay here again. :)
The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious! My only criticism is several of the drawers in the kitchen and baths have lost the back to the knob so the handle kept falling off which made them hard to open. Also, it is great there was food/spices left behind from previous guests but the cleaning crew should go through that because most of the items were expired.
there is a rooster near the property that got us all up at the crack of dawn. This put a damper on the experience as we were hoping to have lazier mornings than up at reveille! I wish I had none about this at the time of booking.
We visited this property for a friend getaway and had a great time. Everything was clean. The house was excellent for five 40+ year old guys to hang out, hike, and enjoy good food and breweries. It is in a great location, and the view from the back porch was fantastic on autumn mornings with a cup of coffee. We loved the third floor hang out room.
Spacious and clean, bright and light house. We had a lovely stay. Hosts were very responsive at all times.
Make sure you bring coffee pods and laundry pods if you need those. Nice shampoo and such provided by host.
Highly recommend.
We came - two friends and our sons - for a weekend in Charlottesville. The home is great. Clean and well maintained - exactly as described. The third floor gave our boys their own tv space. There was plenty of room for everyone. We could easily walk downtown for great restaurants and were close to UVA. I highly recommend this property and would stay again!
This quaint home was perfect for our family vacation weekend! Nestled in a quiet community but close to everything in Charlottesville. Super clean and fully stocked! Would highly recommend!
The place was very nice, cozy, clean, and spacious! It would be a great place to stay with young kids as they have lots of kid gear already at the house. Quiet neighborhood.
I brought 3 teen boys to Virginia for their first hiking experience. This home had an area where I had my own space with a bedroom and private bathroom and deck area. I could sit outside and enjoy a morning cup of coffee and an evening cocktail, while they had their own area upstairs where there was a loft with a TV. There was also a TV downstairs to watch something else if you desired . The kitchen came equipped with everything, if you wanted the option to make a meal. It was near downtown and only 40 minutes from Shenandoah National Park.
Perfect for our group! It was a pleasure staying here. It was exactly as expected and maybe even more. We will definitely stay here again if/when we return to Charlottesville.
