Warm and welcoming staff members, very easy walk to the main shopping areas. Cute, but basic little apartment style dorm room with comfortable beds. Full kitchen, kitchenware can be borrowed for a small fee, returned at check out. Breakfast offered delicious coffee, bread, eggs etc... There were bagels, but they need to add cream cheese to the breakfast bar. A little free library would have been a great option and bedside lamps would be welcome as someone who doesn't like "the big light". I stayed for 5 days with my teenager and would stay again.

Perfect for us

We chose to stay at Glendenning Hall to start and end our cycling trip of PEI. It was perfect, right on the Confederation Trail, luggage storage for our suitcases, laundry facilities, and included breakfast. We could walk easily to downtown Charlottetown to visit friends and also to pick up our car rental at the end of our 12 days of cycling.

We will stay again because for the most part this is a good spot at a reasonable price but we did have one issue with cleanliness in our unit. One bed was not stripped and remade after previous occupant. We had to request clean sheets and strip and remake the bed ourselves. There was also toothpaste on the bathroom doorframe. Staff was helpful and friendly but we felt some compensation should have been offered for the unprepared room the first night.

A fully equipped dormitory used for visitors during the summer time when students are not there. It is rather unique and convenient. Although no room services at all but you may borrow a box full of kitchen items to prepare a meal in the kitchen if you wish.

Close to down town. Friendly staff. Not happy with the housekeeping and room cleaning schedule. However, Jennifer was very courteous and helpful. Room gets very dusty from the airvent. The air ducts probably need to be cleaned out.

Great overall experience. Room are clean and have the basics. Comfortable beds. Nice having a mini kitchen area with seating and the lounge. Kitchen sink had a leak and we had water all over the floor in the morning.

We definitely obtained value for our money. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the complementary breakfast was very nice. The location was a short walking distance from the waterfront and shops. The room was very nice, but the kitchen stove and bathroom tile would have benefited from a deep cleaning. Our overall experience was very positive and we would have no problem staying there again.

Economical accommodation very close to city center. We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment. The furnishings are spartan and dated, but overall very clean. Each bedroom has a double bed and a window-type air-conditioner. Our room is on the main level facing the street so it's a little noisy (earplugs helped). The kitchen has all the appliances but nothing to cook and eat with. You can borrow a kitchen box with dishes, utensils and a frying pan from the reception. There is a dining table with 2 chairs. No sofa in the apartment but there is a common lounge room. Breakfast is rather basic (bagels, white bread, cereals, yogurts, some fruits, and coffee). The breakfast area is small and gets crowded. Free parking provided in the lot across the street.
