Great place to stay in Cheboygan

Was in Cheboygan to do some scuba diving and needed a clean, comfortable place to stay. The Cheboygan BW is a clean and well-maintained place. The staff always greeted you with a cheery 'hello'. The rooms are spacious with private entrance and a patio/balcony facing the river. The breakfast is adequate for similar places with a waffle maker, instant oatmeal, assorted breads, and rotating hot dishes like eggs and sausage or biscuits and gravy. The pool and hot tub looked great, but I did not have the time to enjoy them. The fitness center was a bit small, but had everything you need. Overall a great place to stay.

The terrace area and continental breakfast was a beautiful way to start the morning with a smile. Overlooking the water was relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and the closeness of the town and shops to visit. The hot tub was also a plus!

The hotel didn’t look much like the photos online. The room was too small for two beds. The bathroom was tiny. Breakfast bar was slim. Waaaay too expensive for a mediocre hotel.

Property was great and in close location to where we needed to be the next morning. We brought our 2 dogs with us and there was plenty of room in the room for all of us. The view of the river was peaceful as well!

The hotel sits right on the river with all of the rooms facing it. It was nice to be able to sit on the balcony. Room was clean, breakfast was your standard hotel breakfast ; eggs, muffins, waffle machine etc. It’s a pretty good option for a place to stay in Cheboygan.

I had to do work and called about the wifi not connecting and/or it kept dropping. They called me back to say that the IT people said there was nothing wrong. No fix no resolution. The toilet ran all night. We had to lift the cover off and hold the piece to get it to flush. Told front desk when i checked out. They said thats funny no one else complained about that room yesterday. As if I was lying. Hotel is very clean, but the staff need a lesson on customer service. Very freq edible places around the area. Nonetheless it was very clean, just too many issues

Didn’t like the room, it was a small building across the driveway from the main hotel. The bathroom shower very small and a poor design. Had a giant jet tub in the room and it wasn’t in any of the pictures, had it been we would have booked a different room. Also the bedspread/comforter was dirty and had several rips in it. The other rooms at the hotel may be just fine. If we go back we will not get room 144.

One of the rooms bathroom was not functional and clogged. They could not fix it until second day and caused a lot of mess and smell. I need to connect with Hotels,com for refund.
