Friendly staff and as clean as could be in the condition it is in, but the building and furnishings are somewhat dated and run down. The bed sheets were thread bare in several spots.

Great Stay

Really nice hotel, great location, beautiful view of the river. Room had its own back porch facing the docks and river. Affordable price, and great customer service.

Paid for a king bed but was told they only had queens. No elevator. My wife had a stroke and has trouble going up and down stairs. ice machine was out of order. No breakfast, only a dirty coffee machine in room.

Billie and the staff where welcoming and helpful. We loved being here and will come back. We stayed here several years ago, but this new ownership as of 3.5 years ago has really brought this nice mom and pop hotel back to life.

Spacious and Clean. Close to Groceries

Easy to get to and easy access to several of the M roads. My room was clean and had a nice balcony looking over the waterway. Water pressure isn't the best but the hot water was plentiful. Plenty of towels and washcloths. The hotel is currently undergoing work/updates, but no work was done while I was there to disturb rest. Unsure if pets are allowed but someone did have their dog locked in their car late at night. The desk does close at 9:00 pm so make sure you check in by then or that you have made arrangements with the owner. Conveniently extremely near a Wal-Green's, a Wal-Mart and a regional grocer (with fantastic deals) so replenishing food and other supplies was easy.

Super nice staff. Bad condition but it looks like they are remodeling. Room wasn't dusted, used soap in shower. Funny smell to towels. Room had some things done, badly needs finished with fresh paint.

Be aware that they only have someone available to us to help you from 9 AM to 9 PM. Our toilet was always on the verge of overflowing. The bed was lumpy squishy and way too soft maybe one of those Early renditions of memory foam mattresses. Clock radio flashed and incorrect time all night and we couldn’t seem to change it to the correct time. It had a beautiful balcony overlooking the river. The room was clean and the TV had at least one movie station without commercials.And friendly staff.

The property is on the river which was nice. Front desk was very professional and friendly. The room however wasn’t very clean. Very dusty, and stains on walls and old floorboards. Shower and tub were old and stained as well. We made the best of it anyway since we weren’t in the room except to sleep mostly.

The hotel was ok, it looks like the room had new paint, carpet and tile. The price was good. The hotel doesn't have anything in the way of amenities. We only stayed 1 night but the bed was comfortable and all we needed was a place to sleep.

The rating and reviews on Expedia may not be accurate. The hotel is below motel level and room and facility conditions are terrible. When I knee down on the mattress, it sank 4 - 5 inches and gave no support. Screens in the back was broken, bathroom bent was full of dust. The bathroom ceiling have panels normally used in the basement or office and those are stained and off. I will never stay in this place.
