First night beds were uncomfortable very lumpy matress. Second night different room beds were better. The air conditioner needs to have a air deflector put on it so the air does not blow directly on you. Food was good except for gravy for biscuits and gravy. Need potatoes once in a while.

The lady who checked us in had not long started working with the hotel but took her time and made sure she was doing everything correct. She was very chatty which was nice and welcoming telling us about things happening near by. Rooms are lovely and clean my only gripe would be it would've been nice to get a view of the river instead of the car park but never mind.

This was our first trip to this hotel. One of the worst experiences in our travels. During check in we were given our keys to room and when we opened the door to the room it was already occupied. I went back up the steps and spoke to front desk and was given another room. The next morning I noticed dried blood on my sheets. This was not from me but a previous customer. Called to front desk to report and request change of sheets. Gentleman at the front desk told ME to notify housekeeping because they were right outside my door. I do not recommend staying here. The shower was very weak. Poor customer service and lack of cleanliness.

The room was okay. It is a 2-3 star property. The breakfast bar was limited - the waffle was the best part. Everything was working in the room and the staff was very friendly. It is on a main highway and close to fast food. It was fine for a quick overnight stay.

The facility is convenient to major Cherokee activities. Clean room, common areas and breakfast dining. Very attentive and helpful staff. From this base we were able to visit Bryson Cilty, Maggie Valley and Oconuluftee Welcome Center. Will definitely stay again in future trips.
