Been here several times. Friendly staff. Excellent buffet breakfast. Rooms clean. Parking £10 for right outside hotel and just a short walk into Chester center. What more do you need if your out for a night on the Booze

Great location, hotel in good condition. Room very warm and no a/c, which was the only downside. Plenty options at buffet breakfast.

Comfortable hotel but we had issues with the TV in the room which they weren't able to resolve and the room we had, for some reason a disabled room, was noisy with the sound of a boiler or some other equipment turning on and off throughout the night.

Only problem was with the vending machines! took the machine but did not dispense the goods (water and crisps) luckily the guy on duty was able to give me the goods, he had no idea about how to fix the machine though, not his fault he was very pleasant and helpful.

What a rubbish hotel to stay at. The first thing is the welcome to the unexpected £10 charge to park your car while the specifics of booking the hotel was one with parking and how I known there was going to be a charge. I would’ve chosen another hotel that didn’t charge. On checking, I could not even hear the receptionist because the reception is in the bar which was full of what I believed to be a pile of golfers who won a Sunday night we’re being rather noisy The hotel was extremely hot not potentially the hotel‘s fault but there are no windows open and the air-conditioning is only in the reception area so because of that you have to open the window in the room well the noise from outside was horrendous having been out on the Sunday night it didn’t matter but returned when people were still making noise outside at half past midnight and that noise again was started off at 5:30 with a delivery what appeared to be to the racecourse of loose material maybe sand maybe soil in the night wheel truck with a cover over the tipper area shouting from the driver to some member of staff of the racecourse and at 5:30 on a Monday morning is atrocious what a crap hotel spoiling a 60th birthday celebration the room itself a room for two people had only two coffee sachets and two of small milk cartons Do not stay here if you want some sleep, especially on a hot day in fact, it’s obviously hot at that hotel because one of the glass windows has actually melted inside the glass.

Stayed here before. Service was good, very clean and helpful staff. Room was beneath back entrance with many delivery lorries in the mornings which was quite noisey. Had a bit of problem with the card access to our room, but staff did manage to sort it. Overall good location for Chester and in and out of the area.

The hotel was modern and clean with a convenient location. It was only a 10-minute drive from Chester Zoo, but also a short walk from the city centre. We also found a nice park across the road that the kids enjoyed. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the complimentary drinks (tea, coffee, and juice) were a nice touch, saving me a fair bit of money on drinks for the kids. A good breakfast was also included in the price, featuring cooked options, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, and more. The only slight negative was that the room was quite noisy. The sound of people opening and closing their doors seemed to reverberate around the building. We also had to keep the window open, as there was no air conditioning. This meant there was quite a bit of outside noise from the nearby train line, as well as what sounded like a club or bar that was pretty noisy on Saturday night. The overall stay was positive, and I would recommend it as a good value central location with reasonably priced parking at £10 per day.

I booked this hotel on a friend's recommendation and it did not disappoint. The city centre was within 10 mins walking distance and even the hop on tour bus stopped outside the hotel. We had an enjoyable day on the bus including a river cruise. The hotel room, staff and breakfast were lovely. We had an enjoyable stay and would not hesitate booking again.
