We recently stayed at this property for a long weekend with our family, and overall, it was a mixed experience.What We Liked:The house is quite spacious, which was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own room, and it never felt cramped. The location was very convenient, especially since it's close to where we live. Sophia, the host, was kind and mostly responsive before and during our stay. What Was Disappointing: Unfortunately, there was a strong sewage odor on the second floor that was impossible to ignore. The dishwasher was broken. Also, several lights throughout the house didnât work, both interior and exterior ones, which made it impossible to enjoy amenities like the hot tub in the evening hours. Contrary to the listing, the fireplace doesnât work. There were no tissues in the house, hooks in any bathrooms or waste paper baskets in the bedrooms, which made things inconvenient. The oven wasnât working properly. We reached out to the host about the wintry conditions and icy driveway and were told that someone would come by to salt, but they never did. While the house was clean, it has much room for improvements in every area. Many parts were run down and dated. I would look elsewhere unless serious upgrades are made to this rental.
