All staff welcoming, friendly & helpful. Hotel looked a bit dated & noisy from people outside late evening & in corridors. Room ok, shower area quite small but bed comfortable. NB. There was a pair of swim shorts left by previous guest on the windowsill when we arrived.

Worst bed ever!

First the positives - nice easy check, pleasant gentleman at reception, birthday package was purchased in advance and was lovely. Now the not so positives - The room was tired looking and in need of updating. No a/c and it was really hot. Windows open but as it’s on a main road it’s very noisy to sleep with them open. Absolutely no soundproofing in the room and we could hear the conversations and movement of people upstairs and outside the room. The most uncomfortable, rock hard bed I’ve ever been on! We couldn’t sleep due to noise and temperature and the rock hard bed made it impossible to even try. Really disappointed and absolutely shattered from no sleep. Thankfully we only booked 1 night and have just checked into a much nicer hotel. I wish I read the reviews before I booked!!

La chambre était étroite et je n'ai pas trouvé qu'elle était propre mis à part le lit. Les murs sont fins comme du papier et j'ai entendu les personnes de la chambre à côté rentrer dans leur chambre et s'installer tout ça vers 11PM. La salle de bain est vraiment petite et idem question propreté ce n'était pas ça. Je n'y retournerai pas

Lovely hotel grounds smaller than expected. Nice rooms although a little dated. Comfortable, staff friendly, nice breakfast. Great pool and easy free parking with p&r not far. Would stay again

Really lovely hotel, staff are wonderful and helpful. Only a slight issue with some cleanliness, couple of cobwebs found and some dust in places but didn't put me off. Swimming pool is the warmest pool I've ever been in, it was gorgeous! Overall a lovely stay and we will be returning.

Great stop over

Had a great one night's stay. Lovely welcome by Muskan. We had a great night's sleep and enjoyed the food. The leisure centre was clean and well equipped. Easy access to Chester. Definitely recommend staying here.

Family holiday to Wales!

Omg! What a fantastic hotel! We are a family of 4 adults 2 children and 2 dogs. We were welcomed to the hotel by a warm, friendly lady, who offered us all of the information we needed. The following morning it was just wonderful to see that there were breakfast tables available to sit at with our 2 dogs (who are our babies!) Breakfast was lovely! Then we discovered the beautiful garden, which both the children and dogs loved and used lots of energy before our onward journey! We all felt we could not have chosen a better hotel! Laura on reception was exceptional, so lovely and helpful! The surrounding area was beautiful too! We walked into Christleton and had a meal in a lovely pub, with gorgeous staff!
