This hotel is great for access to Chester main areas (5 minute walk) and close to the bus terminus if you want to go to Chester Zoo, Cheshire Oaks, Liverpool etc. Lovely bar area and restaurant, serving a good breakfast, however day time restaurant and bar menu's could be better. Secure hotel car park opposite the hotel £12.00 per day.Would stay again.

In a great old building with its own bridge across the canal . Very convenient for the city centre but in a really interesting place. Only downside is the dual carriageway running past. Windows closed keeps noise out, but on a hot day the noise would be a problem , though not so much overnight. Staff were friendly smart and efficient , Really enjoyed our one night stay and hope to return.

The property was nice but needs abit of updating I think. The room was very warm without a fan or a/c. The shower in the morning was either hot or hotter and after the gym I really wanted a cold shower. The soap dispenser in the shower was also empty. Breakfast was great but even the room where that was served was hot. The place needs some type of air conditioning. Told the staff about all of this when I checked out as some feedback, but they actually looked as though didn’t really care and for the price I paid for the room I’d of expected a lot better.

If you’re not booking direct with the hotel, parking just a few steps away in the hotel car park is £12 per night, Check-in was quick and efficient. Staff throughout were friendly, polite and ensured your needs were met. The rooms are light and airy, everywhere through the hotel was immaculately clean. The pillows are rubbish though and even after asking for more pillows, which we got, they were not very good. There is no AC in the rooms, which got quite warm, but fans were provided and the staff will remove the safety catch on the windows if you ask. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi is fantastic - for this to all be included and breakfast too, it’s a no brainer. This hotel offers great value for money all round, and we will be back when in Chester again.

Definitely recommend Nice big room with view over canal. The only thing i would mention is the room was very warm. All staff very attentive. Also had a evening meal at the hotel and that was very good. Cooked breakfast good and there is a great choice for breakfast. Very clean hotel.

We purchased your most expensive room, to celebrate a special occasion. As soon as i opened the door my heart dropped. Ive never been so disappointed. The bathroom was disgusting...and had just been cleaned. Hairs everywhere!! It made my skin crawl. Its safe to say it ruined what should have been a special break away.

Great stay.

Staff great on arrival and location is brill for Chester town centre. All public areas are really well looked after. Breakfast was good with hot buffet food although would have liked a little more choice of fruit not just peaches and grapefruit. Room was just what we needed overlooking the canal, quiet and clean. Definitely recommend.

Very nice hotel

Nice city centre location. Parking £12 a day, by necessity as I didnt see any other option eg street parking. Easy walking distance to many restaurants although the hotel has its own restaurant and separate bar with food. Gym and spa attached , and pool was a good size. Just one point to be aware of--the hot water from tap is extremely hot, and using shower can be tricky, and need to get temperature right before stepping in
