Had a wonderful stay at RatiLanna. The room was very nice as was the resort itself. It’s not a White Lotus level type place but is a very good value for the price. Staff was super friendly and helpful and arranged two tours through them with an incredible private driver who took us all over northern Thailand. There is an amazing restaurant on the river about 100 meters away

The Ratilanna is a beautiful oasis! We stayed for three nights during our honeymoon and got a free upgrade to an executive suite. The wood accents are gorgeous and the staff make you feel taken care of. We needed to seek medical care during our stay and they helped us figure out the best hospital to go to. Restaurant staff are so kind. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was an absolute gem of a hotel. We were upgraded to the Exec suite so the stay started out with a bang! Not only was it beautifully decorated it had additional features like a large jet tub and a waterfall feature next to it. The room was spotless with housekeeping services twice daily. They bent over backwards to accommodate our every need with the biggest smile on their face. The buffet breakfast was delicious. The pool was top notch luxury and all the sitting areas throughout the hotel created an atmosphere that was homey. The restaurant actually was quite delicious. Served the best Khao soi I had in chiang mai. We loved our stay here!

The hotel was amazing. It was my husbands birthday and we got up graded to the most amazing suite. Service and helpfulness was out of this world. I wish our stay there was longer than 3 nights.

The room and the view was good but the food especially the buffet breakfast was very poor. I stayed in other places in CM and the food has always been good in other places. The food and drinks at buffet breakfast were not tasty at all, the egg station was ok, the staff at breakfast was forgetful and will keep forgetting things that you ask for, that happened to many other customers too. They need better food both western and Thai for a resort that’s charging comparatively high prices. I found the staff service was lazy at breakfast and very low in general welcome. Parts of resort were under construction/renovation. For a luxury resort, there was no complimentary items from the minibar and tea bags provided was of cheaper quality. It’s a good location and they should try improve their service, food and offering.

Ratilanna is a beautiful hotel with a traditional style and 5 star amenities. Unique style and very serene location next to Ping river. Only a short ride from airport but a 15 min ride from Chiang Mai downtown We had booked 2 rooms and the staff was very nice to upgrade one of the rooms so that whole family were in adjacent rooms. Loved the decor in the room. Never saw such large bath tub with a TV and a waterfall feature. Exactly like on the hotel website pictures The pool is also very large and fun. The hotel grounds are very well kept. The breakfast buffet is delicious and numerous veg and non-veg options. The restaurant overlooks the river with outdoor dining option. It’s a very serene environment in the morning for breakfast. It has a large indoor option with huge glass wall and air conditioning for those who prefer cooler temperature. We had lunch a couple of times there too. The food and drinks are amazing. Even though we ate outside in other restaurants in Chiang Mai, the food here was the best. The entire staff during our stay was very friendly and helpful. No exceptions. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend it anyone planning to Chiang Mai. The other 5 star options are contemporary style hotels u see in any city.

Amazing stay

An absolute gem, quiet, 10-15’ taxi from everything you need, the service was great. We used the gym everyday and loved it. Lots of equipment. Breakfast was amazing, so many choices!

The spa services at this hotel were exceptional and extremely reasonably priced. My 2 1/2 hour treatment was the best service I’ve ever had and I’ve had many. The hospitality of everyone on the property was exceptional. The WiFi was a bit spotty yet who cares when you’re enjoying the beautiful setting. My only feedback was I ate dinner there twice which was good yet the piano player was a bit much for the setting…kind of loud and just not great. Something more low key perhaps an acoustic guitar player would more appealing be divine and I think people would be more drawn to the atmosphere.

An excellent Thai style high end resort, with breathtaking swimming pool by the river of Chiangmai. Enjoy morning buffet with sunrise, bird chirping and quietly passing by local fishermen in traditional fishing boat. Quiet and peaceful. Evening music bar by a talented pianist, presenting classic pop songs, bring in the best anxiety free moments. What could be better?

A GEM in Chiang Mai
