Proximity to Michigan Ave was what we were looking for. Great space, good communication with property manager. Note, this rental is on the second floor so you need to take your bags up a flight of stairs.
The apartment was absolutely perfect for those in town with a full itinerary. Close to lots of great restaurants and bars and a short car ride from any other part of the city. Plenty of sleeping space, and a huge common room to wind down after a day of activity. Host was quick to respond with questions and provided a very detailed guide to the home and neighborhood. Would stay here again!
Loved the location- so close to the bus stop! We got around town just fine either by walking right to downtown Chicago or taking the bus. We found super cheap parking within walking distance.
The apartment itself was super clean with all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfy and we all got much needed rest!
Will stay again in the future!
This place had everything that we needed for me and my family! It is a great location close to many great bars/restauranrs/attractions. We will stay again!
We had a great stay at Danâs property! The location cannot be beat - quiet street close to the triangle and the beach. Many great restaurants and coffee shops and walkable to old town!
We will definitely be back next year!
Perfect property, location and customer experience! Thank you!
From the start of renting this beautiful and charming Vrbo Brownstone Goldcoast property/apartment to check out time, my first Vrbo experience has been perfect in large part due to the prompt and accommodating service from the property owner Dan. The property is located in the gorgeous and upscale Chicago Goldcoast neighborhood. It is just a half a block from restaurants and shops in one direction and just one block from downtown Chicago Magnificent Mile, Lake Michigan, beach and Lakeshore bike and walking path! The apartment is very clean and has a lot of amenities to make sure that guests have a comfortable and amazing stay! I highly recommend this Vrbo rental property!Mil!
The location of this property is excellent, offering easy access to local attractions and amenities. However, the cleanliness and overall condition of the house were disappointing. The air conditioning unit had visible mold growth, and the smell of the mold was so strong it was difficult to ignore. While the landlord did attempt to clean it, the issue was not fully resolved. Additionally, the house did not resemble the photosâmost of the furniture was different from what was shown. Unfortunately, despite the prime location, these issues detracted significantly from our stay.
Loved the neighborhood and the property. So many great restaurants and shopping one block away and beautiful Lake Michigan one block in the other direction. Will definitely stay again!
Dans place was perfect. You canât beat the location â a beautiful brownstone in one of the best parts of the city. It had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!
This condo was perfect for what I was looking for. The location is amazing-beautiful townhouses and apartments throughout the neighborhood. Fancy restaurants nearby, but also walking distance to Portillos/non-fancy restaurants. We were able to walk to the subway and get anywhere in the city. I will absolutely book again. Looking forward to returning!
The unit is in a great location and easy to get around. I didn't have a car with me, so I didn't have to worry about parking. It was clean and easy to communicate with the owner. The building itself is an older Chicago building, although the unit has been updated. I really enjoyed my stay!
The fam went for a mini vacay to get away, immerse in Chicago culture, check out colleges, and vibe with the scene.
This was the perfect place to freely explore the top attractions and more. Transportation is effortless from this shoreline location. Enjoy the authentic parts of life as a Chicagoan.
There is a lot of space for the size and parking was available a majority of the time.
The owners are prompt, organized and make the process super simple.
Had a very good stay here very close to the city at the same time very nice and quiet a lot of amenities and space affordable and clean thank you guys!
This was a very cool property to stay for my first trip to Chicago as an adult.
I stayed here for over a week, and with each day was more grateful for the convenience of the location. In less than a 10 min walk I could be to: the red line subway or a bus stop, multiple grocery/convenience/pharmacy stores, Lake Michigan beaches, dozens of bars and restaurants that ranged from dives to opulence, so many grand historic buildings and residences.. the list could go on.
That's the location, the unit itself was a wonderful respite from the city. Fully stocked kitchen with a big fridge, gas stove, coffee maker, every pan or utensil I needed for the times I cooked. Plentiful seating and lounging space in the living room, AC cooling units (that were not needed for my trip). Being on the second floor was also nice as it created a bit more peace and privacy than a ground floor spot would.
I don't know what else to say about it, I had a really great time and was very happy I booked this spot for my trip.
We really enjoyed our stay in Gold Coast. The place was clean and in a safe area. Parking is difficult and expensive but thatâs expected. Thereâs so much to do and see, even within walking distance. We had a great trip and Danâs Gold Coast Brownstone was at the heart of it. Thanks Dan!
This lovely brownstone was home base as we hiked the city and saw the sights. It was a gorgeous and safe neighborhood and within walking distance to so much! We two seniors and our two grandkids were pretty comfortable in this 2nd floor walk up. The beds were comfy, the sofas and chairs.. were.. ok. Weâd certainly consider a second visit!
My four friends and I stayed here on marathon weekend because everything was booked up. Check in process was easy and flexible. The apartment is nice if not in need of a few updates. We were a little wary of how five grown women were going to share one bedroom and one bathroom but there was plenty of room for us to spread out throughout the apartment when getting ready. The only thing to not is that the bunk bed is not super sturdy. We had one person up too and two below and whenever any one of use moved a muscle the bed swayed like a boat on the water. But we were so tired from long days that it didn't become a problem. Itâs in a great neighborhood walking distance to a lot. Ubers weâre a bit tough to come by but that was probably due to the marathon.
