This was a fantastic place to stay while visiting Chicago to go sightseeing! We LOVED that it was located steps away from a stop for the blue line of the subway (which took us directly to ohare airport as well as to the middle of the city in just a few stops) as well as a stop for the 66 bus line. The room itself was super clean and stocked with absolutely everything we needed and had a full kitchen including a dishwasher, plus a washer and a dryer! It was easy to get to and easy to get in, and we felt safe in the neighborhood. A few things to note: this location is directly across the street from a fire station so there are occasional sirens, and it is on the ground floor which makes traffic noise a bit louder. Because the floors are hard we could hear the people on the floor above us walking around and such, but none of these things were annoying enough to really take away from the experience. The value that we got for the price we paid was more than fair! We would stay here again!
Stayed for two weeks and worked remote, great location was able to walk to nearly everywhere I wanted to go, would recommend, very clean and great amenities.
Property was great! As a digital nomad, I work remotely through travels. This was a wonderful spot with all the kitchen amenities to be at home for a week. Restaurants and coffee shops all around, steps to the subway, and comfortable living. Yes, there are some city sounds and some light, but I'm used to that and I slept very well in the comfy bed. Do note the cautions that parking is limited but use the parking finder apps if you must bring a car (no need for one, though!) Location was perfect for hitting downtown, Wrigley, and upper neighborhoods - so easy. Thanks, it's a saved spot for future Chi-town visits!
This location was great! Very close to west loop. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because we were given the wrong room to check-in to and had to call the managing agent and had to wait. They ended up giving us $20 back for this. Property was clean and like pictures. We had a great experience otherwise.
The property was just how it was described in the property description. It would have been nice to get the checkin email before the day of, however, we understand you donât want to give the code out sooner. All in all it was a good experience. We recommend having deadbolts on the door for increased sense of safety.
This place served me well through a long weekend and was extremely convenient and comfortable. I can confirm the previous reviews with respect to environmental light and sound, but nothing unusual for a city stay in my experience. Getting my initial check info was a bit convoluted, but was easily ironed out with good communication from the property contact.
The location is really 200 feet away from the blue line subway. Breakfast place across the street ( Windy City Cafe) is fantastic. Super clean and provided everything you would need to stay a few days. Love this place and I will rent it again in January.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The location was close enough to the city without the crazy traffic and crowd. We loved the nearby grocery store and restaurants. The highway traffic a lot at times, but we managed. The noises from the fire department were troublesome at night, but not as much as the upper stairs neighbors. I will warn anyone that the walls are VERY thin. The check in was easy, place was clean, and check out with easy. We might stay here again for a short trip.
Overall stay was good. Upon arrival we did need to touch up the cleaning, by sweeping and wiping things down. Building is older which means you can hear EVERYTHING. We were lucky to have parking, but itâs definitely on a busy street.
