It was right on the blue line, close enough that I could lug my heavy bags back and forth to O'Hare no problem. Close enough to the city center to make taxis or public transit a great option. Pretty quiet for the location, though there are no rugs or soft furnishings (so you will hear neighbors), and it is right next to a fire station. Still, pretty quiet! Right next to a large grocery store. Very nice, clean, minimalist design, and every household amenity you could ask for at this type of place. Bed was comfortable to me, and AC worked well.
This was a great spot, quite close to downtown chicago, but a really comfortable little suite with a kitchenette, great shower and comfy bed. Lots of lovely restaurants in the area.
The problems began with several computer warnings that our reservation would be cancelled for failure to complete checkin which had already been done.
That was followed by maintenance problems including the closet rack which came apart and fell, the silverware drawer which wasn't locked in properly and almost fell out of its slot, the washing machine which shook so badly it moved around in the closet, the chipped and loosening floor tiles and the loose toilet seat.
The couch blocked the air conditioner and had to be moved to get air circulation . The bed was uncomfortable and the very small table swiveled which made it difficult to use as a work station.
And finally the floor at the sides of the bed were dirty.
