Overall the check-in, was great , the room was nice and clean, the only cons was the pool/ jacuzzi area , the pool room smelled of dogs (and they shouldn’t be allowed near or in the area), the jacuzzi was filthy and I spoke with hotel employee and he explained that it would be cleaned by the next morning, returned the next morning the water looked a bit more clearer but the walls of the jacuzzi was still filthy and had not been cleaned at all!! Overall the stay was fine .

WONDERFUL HOTEL!

Great place to stay. It felt more like a small apartment than a hotel. Clean and modern. If I were to come back to the area and needed a place to stay, I would definitely rebook.

This hotel seem to be struggling. There were never enough pool towels, the hot tub seemed dirty. Guests were leaving garbage everywhere. I think the staff kind of gave up, honestly.

Staff were very flexible when I had trouble with delayed flights affecting my check-in time. Breakfast was available early and the fully stocked coffee cart 24/7 saved me. Only problem I had was when I turned the heat in my room to 72°, it never turned off and the room ended up being 86° for the rest of my stay, even when the thermostat showed the heat and fan being off.

It was a great experience over all staying at Hampton Downers Grove Suite. It would be great if they improve their breakfast buffet by providing more vegetarian options to consider people who have dietary restrictions and can’t eat meat.
