Badly understaffed. No one at the front desk while two families waited. We had to find the bartender and ask her to find someone to check us in. Check-in took 20 minutes. We then discovered the air conditioner didn't work. Again, no one at the front desk so it took another 20 minutes for help, at the end of which we were told to wait for "the maintenance engineer." Twenty minutes later the desk clerk came by the room to allow that no help was coming; he moved us across the hall. Total time at the end of a long day: 60 minutes. Comfortable room. Good water pressure. Sad shower head; low and not adjustable. Hard-working staff. We stayed ahead of a 6:00 a.m. flight out of O'Hare. FYI: the hotel is 20+ minutes from O'Hare even with no traffic. That fact that it's just four miles away can be a bit misleading.

The property was clean and well kept. The location was perfect for us The only downside was the distance to our room. We are older and my husband had a stroke and has limited mobility . It was a hike to our room every time we went out and came back. Although the staff joked about how far we had to go, they made no attempt to rectify.

We had to deal with ants for 3 of the 5 days we stayed even after we mentioned it to the front desk twice and the cleaning crew multiple times by the 3rd day they finally came in and sprayed the entire room for ants. We also had asked the cleaning staff to replace the towels and things after the third day. They just changed the trash bags and added a few more towels. It didn’t take the old ones with them as they were still hanging in the bathroom door. We originally got double billed but I got that fixed after I reviewed my credit card acct and notified it. Had three different people tell me where the ice maker was one said third floor another said one was near the pool entrance then another said go ask the front desk. She said they usually keep some in the freezers in the vending room. However she was kind enough to get a bag full out of the kitchen area. If you stay in a suite make sure it has ac in both areas as the it suite had one pull out couch and one king bed. Only the king bedroom had the ac so the front area got quite warm. Until they finally sprayed for the ants we were having to keep out trash inside the microwave because nothing was safe even in the bathroom and the coffee area. They never changed out the two glasses that was left by the sink. At $229 plus taxes per night it should have been a lot better.

There were issues form the minute we got to the hotel. But we were too far from home and everything surrounding the area was completely booked. The toilet has feces in it when we got to the room, the blankets were ripped. We tried asking for blankets later in the night, the call wouldn’t go through for at least a half hour, finally go through was told they would bring some down and did not. The receptionist when we left was rude.

The room was full of spots and stains the toilet was leaking the toilet was not updated inside mechanism flapper bad seal. I reset it several times during stay in the middle of the night You don't have hideaway beds for a guest like a granddaughter.thankyou for the extra pillows and blanket so she slept on the floor. Over all .not impressed with Hilton first time I stayed at one not a good value for the money spent didn't eat here too expensive for the value should have gone to Holiday inn or Best western for a decent breakfast complimentary for the same price or lower.

The staff, although understaffed, was polite and accommodating. The first night was a challenge due to a barking dog next door in the middle of the night. There is little soundproofing from the hallways because there is a large gap letting in light and sound around the door. We rectified this stuffing a towel underneath. The coffee was good. The breakfast buffet looked good although we didn’t partake in it.
