Check in was painful. We were there early so they wouldn’t let us check in without paying $40. We decided to have lunch and come back. When we came back at 2 pm they’d still wouldn’t let us check jn but we saw them letting other customers check in with the IHG rewards that you can get online for free. They didn’t tell us that when we arrived. We would have registered in a minute to be able to check in when we arrived and rest. It seems they’re desperate to charge those $40. Then the room. You can hear the traffic nearby day and night and the bathtub and sink drain were slow. The bathtub was not as clean as you’d like it to be. The bed was really uncomfortable, old, the squeaky springs type. Overall I’ll never come back to this hotel.

The room was fine, but outside there was a loud screeching noise that happened about once a minute all night, long, and then every five minutes or so a huge dumping sound. It kept my wife awake most of the night. Apparently there was construction at the hotel next-door. The room was clean, except that there was a tissue stuck into the vent in the bathroom that was not taken down and thrown away. And the lamp cover had been torn by someone previous to us. On the bright side, the staff were very friendly and nice. Breakfast was pretty good.

The most important thing is that I was charged when I came to check in when I already paid through a third party company. Turn extra $530 was taken out of my account Plus $430 from the third party company and this was only for two nights. I understand that the front this person made a mistake but she really did not take the time to look into it. Now I have to wait several days until that money goes back into my account. The reason I paid it in the first place is because I was tired and my mother is in the hospital right now, and me and my mother are 3 hours away from home. I had a lot on my mind at the moment. The carpet really needs to be cleaned. The breakfast was great, that's a really good breakfast selections. Staff in the morning was great and very apologetic for what happened. But I still don't have any money until they fix the issue with that payment.
