Refused to print receipt upon check-out

Great view of Chicago River from my 15th fl room.Very loud traffic noise several nights between approx 11p-1a, sounded like street racing on Michigan Ave. Check-in was OK( why did the man who checked me in have his tie thrown over his shoulder as if he didn't want to spill something on it while eating? odd). My card did not go thru the first time for the $500 hold-fee and I was rushed to try another card. And of course my card went thru on the second try.Likely the fault of their card reader rather than my card. At check-out the clerk did not cite any charges but refused to print out my bill saying that the booking company (HC) would email the receipt. Today my card alerted me there is a $3 charge from The London House, no description.The week before I stayed at The Monteleone in New Orleans (booked thru HC) and they had no problem providing a printed receipt upon check-out.

We had a wonderful stay at the LondonHouse Hotel! Check-in and checkout were both super easy and smooth. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of the city with everything within walking distance. The rooftop is amazing with beautiful views, and the hotel itself has so much character and charm. Definitely would stay here again!
