We had such an amazing experience staying at the Silversmith, largely due to the incredibly generous and amazing Miss Beverly Greene at the front desk and our favourite bartender, Andy. They went out of their way to give us their favourite spots in the city and were so kind and generous- they truly made the Silversmith feel like a home away from home (great location too!) 1000/10 ❤️ we can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic location for the el. Rooms Are somewhat dated with paint and carpet, but we weren’t there to spend time in the room. So I don’t fault them for any of that. Some of the carpet is coming up from floors which is a trip hazard and should be addressed but again- not something that’s affecting their rating. The bed was very comfortable, good WiFi; excellent bathroom water pressure and very hot water which is nice. Close to the CSO, all access for the CTA and great restaurants near by. I do not recommend eating at the restaurant on site- you can be anywhere in the city in 20 minutes from the el platform so I highly Recommend staying here if you’re open to walking and exploring
