Definitely 5 stars! Wonderful house very well stocked with anything you could need. My family was in town for a wedding and it was the perfect location. Has a cute little playground just down the street and close to the train station and Cantigny. The hostess was very gracious and had many unexpected extras in the house. Super clean and all the mattresses were very comfortable. We had the best experience!
The home was beautiful and nestled in a neighborhood which allowed for evening walks. Loved that it was so close to the train station for our day of exploring downtown Chicago.
Amandaâs house worked out perfectly for our group of 5 ladies. She was so easy to work with and even had a game sent over when she found out we were in town for art classes! Will definitely stay here again when in town. Thank you Amanda!
Amanda is a great host! Property was spacious for all 10 of us. Kids loved the game room and the AC was on point. Wish we had more time to take advantage of the beautiful firepit with plenty of seating. Nice, quiet neighborhood.
The house was very nice, clean, and well-stocked in the bathrooms and kitchen. It was close to restaurants, parks, and shopping. Communication with owner was great.
This is the second time weâve rented this property to visit family in the area. The best feature is the kids area in the lower level. Bunk beds, game room with tv and pull out sofa and full bath. Also love having coffee provided! We will definitely rent this property again!
Our mothers were McEwens - raised on a dairy farm in PA, and we came to Chicago to celebrate their Scottish Heritage. The Chicago Scots were honoring clan MacEwen this year at their Scottish Games. We came from all across the USA to represent our mothers. This home was the perfect place to stay together. It is large, clean, and beautifully appointed. It is an ideal place for a gathering: it has everything that is stated in the description. We found it to be very comfortable, like the bedding and sitting area. Be aware that it is a split level home, but most of the bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open kitchen, dining room, and sitting room, are all on one main level. Sadly we did not get to use the beautiful back yard due to rain and being so busy at the games. The game room in the basement would have been perfect for younger relatives (our average age is 70), alas, they could not join us for this. This beautiful home was close to everything we did this weekend. The owner was informative, and helpful whenever I reached out to her. We would stay here again.
The house was great for my whole family (10) so that we could be together for my Daughter's graduation from Aurora University. And the place was large enough so that we could host our extended family for dinner. It was nice to have our "own" place
We picked this house because it was close to the family members we were visiting. Plenty of room, very clean, nice backyard and close to everything. It suited us perfectly!
House was beautiful and well appointed. Beds all very comfy. 3 bathrooms was wonderful! LOVED having a fire pit and back yard and the weather to enjoy it. I will say that using the TV was not friendly, but we really didn't need or try to watch it much. Mostly to see the forecast or catch the news. Our host was easily accessible and prompt with any responses. Highly recommend!! the news.
We had a blast. We were in town for a cheer competition and had 4 adults and 4 kids. We had plenty of space. Everything was clean. We even went for a walk and there is a cute little neighborhood park down the street. Lots to do around the area. I would recommend to anyone coming to the area looking for a place to stay!
Our mom/grandma/great grandma was hospitalized at Central Dupage. This house is in a nice community and very close to the hospital as well. The decor is so cute-very true to the pictures.
This property was in a great location! Easy to find and central to make getting to the surrounding cities super easy. The property was easy to access, which was my number one worry, and we had a fantastic time with our stay. Thank you, Amanda!
