Room small but amazing , bathroom roomy , bed so comfy , bar area welcoming & modern . Reception staff excellent . Location great . Parking easy .
Bath rail too hot & close . Lift door abit wonky .
This is a really lovely hotel. Really well kept, and friendly staff. I will definitely be staying here again when in the area. It felt very exclusive, without being over the top. Very nice.
The location was ideal for the local shops and restaurants all within walking distance as well as interesting activities within walking distance. Good choice of breakfast and had an evening meal at the restaurant and it also had a good choice
A good stay as usual. Nice friendly staff. Right in the centre of town so very convenient for what I had to do.

Liked: Staff & service
Staff were amazing and very helpful. Food was excellent and beautifully served. Our original superior bedroom was dark and looked out on a tiny grubby concrete area with an air conditioning unit. They changed it immediately and the next room was very good. Bathroom fans very noisy at night. Bar lounge furniture was very stained and some of it torn. I didn't really want to sit on it.
The staff made the hotel with their enthusiasm and helpfulness.
Fabulous beds, very friendly and knowledgeable staff (they gave good advice on places to eat). Only downside was the view from our room (29) which faced scaffolding and roof repairs. Thankfully no work was taking place during our stay and we could close the blind to obscure the view.
This historic hotel was right in the middle of town perfect to pub crawl or thrift shopping. The park is located right behind the property. It was a personification of an old English Stay!
Friendly staff and great service.
No aircon but pedestal fan, our room did get warm but no problem for us as Australians we are use to warm days and nights.
Did not try breakfast but did have dinner, table staff very attentive and the meals were well presented and delicious.
We were advised Chichester is a small town but still plenty to see and do, most thing with easy walking distance.
Good bus network if required.
Hotel is 10-15 minutes from Railway station, so not too far.
Will stay again if our future travels include the South UK.
We only booked an overnight stay at the hotel together with a pre theatre dinner. Check in & check out was quick and easy. All the staff throughout our stay were polite & helpful. The room was a good size & packed with all the usual equipment you would need for your stay which also included a mini bar. We were very surprised when we saw the height of the bed which was unusually high but very comfortable when you managed to climb on it. Would book there again.
I stayed on a very hot day. The room allocated was high up in the property. There was no a/c and the windows could only be opened an inch or two due to seagull guards. Lovely place but my room was incredibly hot, which was a shame. I will stay there again though if possible as it has a great central location
Very hot room with inappropriate heavy duvet for the summer season. Check-in experience wasn’t that welcoming, though breakfast room staff were more personable. Inadequate parking.
