Stayed one night during our annual Thanksgiving visit with family in Chico. We usually stay in an upscale historic hotel downtown but the rates there this year were really high. I booked the Hampton Inn based on the strong reviews. The place is newer and very clean. The lobby is spacious, the staff is friendly and efficient. Lots of level two EV charges outside the main entrance. We didn't have the breakfast but appreciated the coffee bar that appears to be available all day.

TV system is useless. Can’t even plug in an HDMI cable, mirror a screen or stream any service. Barn-style door for bathroom offers no privacy. This is a really dumb design. Overall lounge area does not feel very comfortable.

The lady at the front desk was super nice and friendly. The entire place smelt so clean and looked clean too. The beds in our room could be softer but over all it was a great experience the breakfast was amazing as well. Everyone was so friendly
