This hotel was in walkable distance to the beach, restaurants and other local stores, which was nice! Harrison Hot Springs is a lovely place in general. Although, the room we had here was unclean and in need of dire renovation (1 Queen bed room). Some rooms have workable AC and others do not, so you are not sure what you’ll get. There was no smoke alarm, pillows were stained, and the toilet barely flushed. The staff accommodated our request to switch rooms with no hesitation. We had a more renovated room with no AC, but it was cooler in general as it was a Lake side view. This room was cleaner as well (2 Queen bed room)

Outdated but great amenities!

Surprisingly impressive hotel. At the price we paid for this, it was amazing. The hotel just needs a little update. The TV only has cable, the microwave and fridge models were clearly old, and the cabinet has wear and tear. There was a wiring hole in our bathroom, and the tiles were generally old as well. But these were minor things to us, considering we were only staying there a night. The really important thing was that it was clean, the bed was comfortable, parking was free, and it was walking distance to the lake and mall. We were surprised to find jetted tubs and free access to the mineral pool. The staff were friendly and they checked us in early at no charge. I'd love to see this hotel get more patronage so they can upgrade.

The property is being renovated. So the room we were given did not have air conditioning. Room was warm. But the staff were quick in trying to resolve the problem. We were moved to another room.

The AC is not working, the cabinet doors was broken is not safe especially if theres a kid. Theres no hook to hang the towel in the washroom. But one of the staff is really good she fixed the tv and she brought us the portable AC.

Crooked management. They’ve disabled most of the electric sockets so they can force you into renting a phone charger. Very run-down building inside and out. At least the bed was comfortable and the taps were functional.

The location is great (kitty-corner from the public pool and a short walk from the lake front). The staff were friendly enough. However, the facilities have seen better days: The lobby door needs repair, and much of the exterior facade (i.e, marble tiles and canvas awning) need replacement, repair or re-painting. A good pressure wash would help too ! Indoors, a closet door in one room hung only the bottom hinge while holes on walls and doors throughout the building need patching. Rugs need a good shampooing if not actually replacement. In the bathrooms, there was either no soap or no shower gel, and the showers were ineffective because the head could not be fully switched from "soak" mode to anything with sufficient pressure to shower properly. The heating system was either not working or it was shut off earlier in the season. First nioght was cold. Housekeeping left much to be desired too: our rooms were not visited at all during our 2-night stay.
