The cleaning staff were very nice, cheerful and were working hard. However, the plastic jets in the bathtub were very dirty, and the bath edges and floor edges needed a deep clean and some reno before we would ever use the bathtub as a tub. The jets and some parts of the bathroom were quite dirty. The water was cold in the shower one morning. The sheets and towels were clean and new. The front desk staff were average. We were put in a second floor room with no elevator and had to haul our luggage up four flights with no assistance. When we mentioned this the front desk person said (with no apology) if you want to change you'll have to change to a different type of (inferior) room. Room Security was a concern. However....for Vancouver the room was inexpensive so we were not expecting much, apart from basic cleanliness.

Do not stay here!!!

HORRIBLE!!! The room was filled with smoke smell, toilet was leaking onto the floor, stained sheets, TV not working, large holes in the walls with patches, and a large puddle of water on the carpet under the vent system. This was in both rooms. The staff was informed and they said they were aware, but nothing could be done.

We enjoyed our stay here. I knew when I booked that it was an older hotel with not many upgrades, which is fine. The bed was very comfortable, and I felt safe. I booked the honeymoon suite for my husband's birthday, which came with a jacuzzi tub, which was out of order. The front desk said someone would come to fix it, but that didn't happen. I told them to forget about it since there was a hot tub in the hotel anyway, which was great to use until the last night, where we noticed a bunch of white particles floating in the tub. So, we immediately left the hot tub and showered and scrubbed like our lives depended on it after that. Other than that, breakfast was decent. Not a hot breakfast place, more like continental with boiled eggs and premade breakfast sandwiches. The bed was the best part. They also have Dove products, which is a nice touch. Only disappointment was the tub.

You can definitely twll that the staff are just used to the complaints, our room's AC didnt work, without any fuss, they just upgraded our room almost immediately. The staff they their best but it seems like the hotel's condition is just out of their hands.

The hotel is dated. Carpets serd dirty, bed was ok. Bayhtub was old, looks like they repaired the finish with paint so was not interested in relaxing. The frudge leaked due to too much frist, they had to come up and clean it. The value ti me was over priced. Need to update

This was the WORST hotel we have ever been to! It was dirty, holes in wall, air conditioning broken, electrical outlets didn’t work, totally a trashed place.
Hole in bathroom.
Mold and dirt on floor.
Torn and outdated chair.

Will avoid staying at this place as it's not as shown in pictures. Room stinks, washroom leaks and whole room has signs of wear and tear. Wifi goes off and when asked they say it will be fixed. Free breakfast thing should be removed as they have nothing literally to have except some milk and yoghurts.

We needed a place to stay for a family reunion. Having grown comfortable with Expedia and the brand of the Ramada inn, I thought I was making a safe choice and decided not to look at the reviews. What an absolute mistake This property shouldn’t be on Expedia whatsoever. Clearly it used to be a nice hotel, all the dated fixtures lead me to think it was once something special in the 80s/90s. That day is long, long gone. When we stayed there we found mold in the bathroom, paint chips on every surface that was repainted, multiple code violations/safety hazards (indoor light fixture meant for dry rooms installed directly above shower, collecting humidity), cigarette holes in the blankets, stained sheets, puke stains on the rear of the back stairway, suspected human feces at same stairwell (quite a party it seems). The cleaners could barely speak English, the front staff could speak well enough though, I’ll give them that. There were discarded bed frames and building materials on the south side facing the highway near the sea can in the open. I have pictures and will be posting them I seriously can’t tell what’s happening here. I’m unsure if this is a family that’s trying and failing due to completely different cleaning/maintenance standards between countries or if it’s just a front to wash money (like the Indian restaurant behind the hotel). This place should be avoided if at all possible. Not even worth $50 a night. Absolutely disgusting and a disgrace to the Ramada chain.

Needs some serious updates ac was so loud hose laying around the pool easy to trup on. Tables at breakfast were filthy. Heard the manager try to kick a homeless guy out and he was very rude using you smell so bad and get out. Definitely would not come here agai

The pictures online did not reflect the true state of the rooms and hotel. Dirty, rundown, dated. No hot water when we needed to get ready to head out for an event after being on a plane. Staff were not willing to move us to a new room. We had to go to our event not showered and come back not knowing if the hot water would be working. There was hot water but you had to run it for minimum 10 minutes before it would get hot. Had to go and ask for towels as the cleaning staff never replenished the towels we use for the days we were there. Towels given from the front desk were damp. Cleaning service never once cleaned the counters, sinks, or vacuumed our room. They only made the beds if you can call it that and dumped the garbage if it was full. Will NEVER stay there again.
