Ehhh.

Affordable, and nice family that runs it, but I was not thrilled and would not call it a 7.0, more like a 5.0. Not great security overall on property. Regular keys with door that did not open, lock correctly as it kept jamming. Loud drunk people in parking lot. Very loud at night and the room was so hot with windows that could not open and AC that was broken. Pool is freezing and outdated. Ehhh..

We actually left. It was very old and run down. Was smelly and had been smoked in at one point a lot. The pictures and descriptions were very misleading and we are still waiting for a refund.

We wanted a quick overnight stop in a cheap motel. This is what we got, a slightly tired and pretty basic room with a large bed. The lady on reception was enthusiastic and tried to help us with ideas (leaflets) for things to do. There is an indoor pool, but we didn't use it. Generally quiet, but freight trains to roll on through in the early hours. Behind the motel is a local diner called Rolys. It is worth a visit, either for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You may need a doggy bag....

The outside is a little run down- but the room itself was quite nice for the price- issue was the room bedside had a very angry man who was very loud and had his tv very loud so didnt sleep very well.

The Slumber Lodge is a bit outdated but the front reception lady was kind and our room was clean, the sheets were fresh, bed was comfy, and there was hot water and plenty of towels.

Staff was friendly, but the hotel room was dirty, stains and drip marks running down the walls, the floor was bubbled and lifted, the bathroom was super run down and grungy. There were smokers all around the building. No matter what time of day we went outside, we were welcomed with cigarette smoke. Booked it for the pool, but the pool was FREEZING, and impossible to even breath in. Not an appropriate place for a family.
