A lovely place, rooms a good size, and very clean. Staff were very helpful. The shaded pool, though small, was good. It's a pity that the microwave and fridge weren't mentioned in the listing. It's helpful having those, especially in a small town with limited eating options. I'd suggest a marked check in parking area. People checking in park in front of the office, blocking the entrance to others.

The room was ok although dated and had a funky smell on entering. There is train noise but didn’t bother as had ear plugs. The mattress was old unfortunately. The staff were very pleasant. For one night stopping good value.
