We had the most amazing stay in this beautiful extremely well kept cottage and will definitely return. The one thing that sticks a little, I work in a hotel and find a check in time of 5pm and check out of 10am is a little unfair. In a hotel it would be 3pm arrival and 12 noon departure I understand we have a large team to clean but I feel 4pm and 11am would be fairer for the price. However saying that we were confirmed a later check out which we very much appreciated. The Ebrington Arms at the top of the road is a must visit to eat - especially Sunday lunch.
We were delighted by Spring Cottage, which is neatly furnished and has a fully stocked kitchen. The garden is exceptional and youâll want to enjoy many meals outside with extra space for children to play. Street parking is very easy in front. The Ebrington Arms, just a 2 min walk, is open all day and very family friendly with beautiful views from picnic tables in the back.
Do bring your own shampoo and body soaps as there arenât any supplied.
We found the address is a bit tricky on Google Maps as it pointed us to a different location up the road, but the neighboring cottage Pump Cottage is accurately mapped so can be used for navigation.
This is a perfect cottage superbly well appointed. Clean, bright and in keeping with the style of the Cotswolds. Ebrington is ideally situated and an easy drive to all the popular towns and villages. The local inn is good for food and there are many gastro type pubs around the area.
Loved it. The weather helped too.
We could not have asked for a more perfect cottage in which to stay for our holiday in the Cotswolds. The cottage was cozy and beautiful and the listing was exactly as described. The location in Ebrington was centrally located and provided the perfect spot - quiet, quaint and yet close enough to the many villages we visited - Chipping Campden, Stratford Upon Avon, Lower Quinton, Broadway, Moreton in Marsh, Bourton on the Water, Lower Slaughter. All of these villages were about a 20 minute drive away. The Spring Cottage itself was a dream to stay in. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was nicely appointed and the downstairs shower was heavenly. I never wanted to leave! So much character and the perfect spot to return to after exploring the many villages of the Cotswolds. I would highly recommend the Spring Cottage and can't wait to return!
We had a fantastic stay at Spring Cottage. The property is amazingly and has everything you could need and more!
The AGA stove is a delight to cook on and is easy to master once you read the little booklet in the kitchen.
The beds are extremely confortable and the wood burner is the perfect finishing touch.
Garden is very well maintained and overall the property was extremely clean.
We had our first dinner at the local pub (Ebrington Arms) and it was delicious, I highly recommend it.
And, finally, the cottage is in the perfect location to discover the lovely Cotswolds area!
We hope to come back soon!
