Hotel is outdated. Room was dingy and very dark. In fact, I had to request a lamp to be brought up for desk so I could work on computer as room was so very dark. Also chair at desk did not go up so I was sitting so very low at desk. I requested new chair but they did not have one that was compatible to desk area. People at desk were nice however. ALSO, NO WASHER OR DRYER IN PLACE. closest place to do laundry was 10 minutes away! Breakfast was lousy as was coffee. Would NEVER stay there again for the money. Beds were uncomfortable. Mattress was so shoddy that I could feel springs coming through them. Rugs were filthy. Hallways were not clean and elevators were filled with fingerprints all over the place. Germ city!

Everything needs updating, painted , but biggest thing is needs dusted and wipe down walls, floor boards and clean floors but the worst was having a sliding door on bathroom that doesn’t seal. Who wants to go to bathroom with someone else in room with door opened an inch??

Nobody was there when we got there and we had to stand around waiting. The room was old and had paint peeling from the walls (I have a picture) and it never was cleaned the morning after we arrived. We wanted to leave and go look for someplace else but the person we spoke with said since we booked through a third party we couldn’t get a refund. The room just smelled off too and the floors were paper thin and the people above us kept us awake both nights. We don’t get any sleep. Last time we ever stay at Hampton Inn.

All of the staff was helpful and polite. The breakfast offered a variety of choices and the area was kept well stocked and cleaned. We had a light bulb that was out so I called down to the front desk. They came up and replaced it within 5 minutes. I would highly recommend this hotel. There were several choices of restaurants within walking distance, as well as stores to browse in and pick up any forgotten items.

Our stay, the property and staff were great. Our only concern… When we checked in, we found that we had 2 rather than 1 room reserved?? Not sure who made the error (Hampton Inn or Expedia) but it was a concern and minor hassle upon arrival.
