Wonderful stay for the weekend

We had a wonderful time at this hotel, even though we weren't there very long and were only in the hotel to sleep. We came to drop our kiddo off at college for the weekend. The hotel is beautiful, it's in a great location and the staff were PHENOMENAL! The only drawback, and it really wasn't that big of an issue... it was really noisy on Saturday night. Motorcycles and cars were loud. The GM has complained to the city, but not sure they can do much about it. I wear earplugs so it did not bother me so much but I could hear it. We were also up on the sixth floor so that helped. Overall, I would stay here again, and tried to book again this weekend but it's full. Love the staff here most of all!

The room was spacious, well-lit and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and gave me excellent recommendations for places to eat around town. I do wish someone had come in to make the bed daily but that's my only feedback for improvement. I would highly recommend staying here!

Great downtown modern hotel

Comfortable hotel with modern styling in the center of downtown. Easy walking distance to everything (restaurants, trolley stop, baseball, football, river park and TQL soccer stadium). The room with king bed, sofa bed and kitchenette was quite spacious. Breakfast was typical affair. Downstairs recreational area was exceptionally spacious with pool table, foosball, lots of seating and tv viewing areas for lounging outside of the room. Valet was quick and easy.

Room size was great, hotel area walkable. Didn’t like that the glasses in cupboards were dirty, and had to run dishwasher just to trust to use anything after that. Clearly fingerprints and lip marks on glasses- all four. Not a single disposable cup anywhere. That was a real turn off, and causes one to question the cleanliness of the entire room.

TownePlace suites was exceptionally nice overall. Very clean. Very convenient. Staff was great. Free breakfast was really good. It is on the corner of a busy intersection downtown so it does tend to be very noisy at night. I guess you can expect that from a downtown hotel. Overall, we had a great stay. And would stay at other Townplaces, maybe in a not so noisy location.
