The room and the hotel were very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was very varied, it was very rich, better of all, it was close to the port of the cruise, the employees were very friendly and helpful, all very good.

A good place to stay if need to be close to port

We stayed given it was close o the port and I had to book 3 rooms. There was lots of room in these rooms. They are a bit odd as some have two bedrooms even though not clearly articulated in the site. Could have booked fewer rooms! Price was right and includes breakfast

I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are going on a Mediterranean cruise. The staff is awesome and very helpful. They also have a shuttle to the cruise terminal and the Rome airport. The hotel is clean and nice and the rooms are quite big for Europe. The bed is comfortable and there is a balcony. Breakfast comes with the room also.

Nice quite small hotel no eating facility's near by a bout 20 mins walk to sea front and food shops close 1.30 till 3.30nice clean hotel and nice staff ok for a short stay . beware taxis from the port tried to rip us off 40 euros from the port hotel has a transfer for 20 euros each way though not too far from the port free continental breakfast which is ok for a small hotel .

Wonderful Stay at Hotel Traiano – A Perfect Italian Experience We stayed at Hotel Traiano in Civitavecchia after departing our cruise, and it was a lovely experience. The hotel is wonderfully located—just about a 10-minute walk to the charming Old Town area. Staying here felt like an authentic Italian experience. While the hotel is a bit dated, it is extremely clean and well-maintained. The daily breakfast was fantastic, offering a perfect variety of hot and cold options, along with fresh pastries. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any request. Booking transfers to the port and airport was stress-free and handled very efficiently, which made our travel much smoother. We would definitely recommend Hotel Traiano for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay in Civitavecchia!

Staff was really helpful and polite. Unfortunately, it was not near places to eat. Everything else was good. They had a free shuttle to dinner at their sister hotel and the dinner was delicious and reasonable.
