Wonderful stay over the 4th
The unit was very clean and well appointed. The beds were comfy and plenty of pillows were provided. I tend to be a little on the picky side, I don't require "fancy" but cleanliness and comfort are paramount and the Boathouse provided us with both. The host was quick to answer any questions and was very friendly and welcoming via messages. I will say that if anyone has mobility issues, there is some walking involved..just an fyi. There's construction currently at the front of the building and there is a parking lot but it can be a haul if you bring a lot of things with you. It was not an issue for us personally, and there is elevators to access the unit. But just wanted to add that for someone with a walker or very limited walking ability it may be a little struggle. I have something called POTS and have been dealing with a sciatica flare but still managed okay. The security at the front desk was quite friendly. Overall we were fairly impressed and the Boathouse was even better than we thought it would be. You really cannot beat the view and it was perfect for watching the Jacob's Field fireworks.
