Cleveland stay

The guest service was wonderful. They were very accommodating and considerate at check-in. I love Kimpton’s, and the lobby and complimentary drinks/coffee were great. Unfortunately, our room and floor was quite dated. Something I do not expect from Kimpton. Plus there was no room freshening on our second day. I appreciate fresh towels, etc. We had a burned out light, and the room was very dark, even once it was repaired. Just not the usual Kimpton experience.

Beautiful hotel!

It's was a great experience! If I'm ever in Cleveland this will be my go to for a place to stay. The rooms were very nice and clean. The beds very comfortable and the view of the downtown was very nice as well! I couldn't hear any noise other than the cars outside.

We got there early due to our flight arrival we went to check in around 11 o’clock. They said that they would try the best to get a room ready for us that my room was empty. They were gonna have it cleaned. Well they must’ve miscommunicated with the cleaning people and my room wasn’t ready till closer to four so I wasted 45 hours just sitting there waiting to get a room so I can get my stuff upstairs Never stay in there again. I’ve always had accommodation and they would always have the room ready for us I spoke with the cleaning people. They were not aware of it and so therefore they didn’t get to my room till later and nobody else was there waiting just us then people are coming in and checking in getting a room That wasn’t right all you could do is apologize. They don’t have accommodation coffee or water. Nothing there for you we sit in there for hours were not in a drink, but you could go to the bar and pay for that now sorry that’s not great customer service.

The property was located near several food options that were walkable. Several attractions were also walkable in the area, Rock and Roll hall of fame and Progressive Field. The room was clean with a giant bathroom and probably the best water pressure for a shower I have ever experienced. The only downside was I was on the second floor facing the street which was extremely loud at night. They do provide ear plugs.

After a long drive, the Kimpton Schofield was a welcome sight. We opted for the overnight valet parking, and it was a worthwhile expense. The valet staff was helpful and made the check-in process smooth. We used the drink tickets we received at the hotel's restaurant, Betts. The food was surprisingly good, and the live music and bar with sports on were a nice bonus after staying at some less-than-stellar places off the highway. The beds were a definite highlight—very comfortable linens. They also treated our dog very well, which is always a plus. The complimentary morning coffee was a nice touch, too. Being downtown, there were some obvious downsides. The street noise from motorcycles was loud, a problem the hotel seems to be aware of, judging by the white noise machine and earplugs provided. More notably, the immediate area had a distinct, unpleasant odor, particularly of urine, and there was a sizable homeless population. While I didn't feel unsafe during the daytime, it's something to be aware of.
