West Cork holiday home with incredible sea views
Seaspray is a charming beach bungalow set in the heart of West Cork. Just three minutes by car to Rathbarry and Rosscarbery, and only ten minutes to Clonakilty or Glandore, it’s perfectly located for exploring the area.
A short stroll down the lane brings you to The Fish Basket on Long Strand or The Swim Club Deli on Owenahincha Beach. Both are open throughout the summer serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
This much-loved family holiday home has wonderful sea views stretching from Galley Head Lighthouse in the east to The Staggs rocks in the west. It’s ideal for a family, with three bedrooms: a master double bedroom with ensuite shower room and sliding doors leading out onto the patio, one bedroom with bunk beds, and a single bedroom. There is a second shower room beside the bedrooms.
The bright open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room all enjoy beautiful sea views. The dining table can be extended to seat up to six people. The sitting area is bright and welcoming, with patio doors leading outside. For cooler evenings, there’s a wood burning stove. Please note there is no TV at the property – Seaspray offers a true escape from everyday life.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need, including kettle, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine (no dryer, but there’s a laundrette in Clonakilty), oven, hob, and fridge-freezer.
Outside, the patio is a real sun trap, complete with sun loungers and outdoor dining furniture. From here, you can take in the stunning 220-degree sea views.
PLEASE NOTE:
Seaspray is tucked away in a very private setting, accessed via a rocky dirt track off the main road and down a narrow laneway.
There is no WIFI at the property, though mobile signal is generally good. Guests are welcome to bring a dongle if required.
Similarly, there is no TV
