8 adults from south Louisiana stayed 4 nights. Itâs a quaint historical house with lots of character. House was located walking distance to the main street for downtown. Bathrooms were stocked with toiletries to last a couple of days. Kitchen was also equipped with dish soap, paper towels and dishwasher pods. Washing machine was equipped with detergent and softener sheets. Rooms were small as listed. Not much room to put suitcases and clothes in a few rooms. AC consisted of a few window scattered around house. If the weather is nice the outside area is where to sit. We did not use the outdoor kitchen but we did sit on porch and front yard. Several deer even walked into the yard to eat fruit off trees. House was ok. A little crowded for the 8 of us.
From the time you walk between the beautiful spruce trees, you will forget you're in town. This house looks and feels like a cabin in the woods. The porch and outdoor kitchen are so peaceful and inviting. We ate all our dinners there, even invited a couple of good friends over for dinner two nights. We were in town for the Winchester Arms Show, and every afternoon we headed straight back to the house, we didn't even do any of the other fun things to do in Cody. Can't wait till next time.Sincerely!Russ R.PS: The local deer love this place too. We had a nice buck in the yard several times.
Our family enjoyed staying in this rustic property. It has a great location and we walked to restaurants and shops downtown. We also enjoyed having the combination of outdoor and outdoor living space.
Being an older house, it does have some quirks. We were there one of the hottest weeks of the year and the upstairs window A/C unit could not keep up. It would help if the unit was larger and more of the windows could be opened at night. We could not use the upstairs bedroom because of that.
Otherwise, it worked well for us and we would book it again for a group.
Great location not far from the main drag in Cody. House was nicely appointed with true Western Decor, including the outdoor area which we used for Family gatherings. Plenty of seating and tables for guest to play games or share a meal. I highly recommend this place!
House was beautiful and great spaces for everyone! My husband has brain cancer and this house created a great "home base" to see this amazing part of the country while we made priceless memories!! Thank You !!!!!!!!
My brother and I plan a trip once a year so that our daughters and their children can stay in touch with each other. We all live fairly far apart and only see each other once a year. We want the kids to feel like they âgrew up together.â Yellowstone was a huge hit!
We were in Cody for a family wedding and had an age range of 7 to 88. The house was perfect for our needs, with a main floor bedroom and bathroom for elderly parents, wonderful spaces for family meals and a lovely yard.
This cabin had a lot of charm and some very cool decor, very unique. Location was great, a block from downtown and walking distance to several restaurants. The outdoor area/firepit was perfect to drink a glass of wine and still have privacy. Check in and check out was easy....we're considering coming back to this property for a family reunion beacause it is deceptively large. Cool place
Such an interesting property, our family loved it! Walking distance to downtown and short drive to many outdoor activities. Lots of unique items that kept our kids entertained. Wonderful stay!
Somewhat charming home, however lots of dusty stuff everywhere and it had an "old" smell. The outside area with the kitchen is very nice and inside has spread out rooms that allow privacy for guests, however ground level floors squeak and entire house can hear every tiny step made. NO A/C as advertised which wouldn't have been that bad with somewhat cool nights, however the windows were permanently shut. NO hot tub...it's a water trough outside with a faucet.
