This property needs some serious maintenance. There's mold in the bathroom, the faucets are worn out, shower head sprays at an odd angle. The couch has stains on them. Moldings have rot and the room has an identifiable unpleasant odor.

Could be such a great place

We got in and the front desk lady, Nicole is super pleasant and nice to work with! I wish her all the best in her life! The room itself… was a hot mess. The A/C would not stay on at all and the room was extremely hot upon entry. The fan was super dusty and the room smelled musty. The toilet was dirty, underneath the lid was even worse, pee everywhere and pubic hairs. The shower had left over soap scum and questionable dried yellow stuff on the wall. The bed and pillows are extremely uncomfortable. It’s like sleeping on bricks. Was very uncomfortable all night and didn’t get very much sleep. The dishwasher full of dishes looked dirty despite saying clean. There were fingerprints still on cups and the cups were visibly dirty still with lip prints on them. I think my husband and I left the room cleaner than when we got in. We cleaned as we got in and right before we left. Had to check out early due to medical issues and again, Nicole was absolutely amazing. She’s so sweet and understanding and we’d come back just because of her. I hope the owners read their customers complaints and take action because that hotel is absolutely beautiful and I’d hate to see it go further down hill. Also, maybe make an adults only time for the pool and rec center. Even if it’s just 2 hours(10 PM to 12 AM) I don’t mind kids but we’d love to have a more relaxed time without being splashed in the face or having kids in the hot tub swimming around and making tons of noise.

Beautiful outside…

Check in was exceptional. Nicole was friendly, informative and even showed us to our room. Room was good with kitchen and separate bedroom. Nice balcony with chairs. Interior style and furnishings are mediocre and A/C cools bedroom 10 degrees below rest of unit. Exterior and grounds are very nice.

Overall a nice place but upgrades would improve.

The property was very clean and the amenities were great. The cons were the bed was uncomfortably hard, the air conditioning only goes down to 68 and it only cools one room, the rest of the unit was warm. Also, the marketplace was more of a souvenir shop and had little to do with stuff one may actually need if they were staying long term. Adding some groceries and toiletries to the marketplace would be good and the facility would benefit from an onsite restaurant as the pub and grill (which is not attached but near, attached the the Golf Course) has low par food, is quite pricey for what you get and takes 2.5 hours to get food and the waitresses will not keep you stocked with drinks in the meantime. They walk by, don’t talk to you and seem overwhelmed. So more comfy beds would be great, air conditioning that is a little more effective for the whole unit and some groceries would be a great addition to the place.

The hotel is very nice, pool was clean. They didn’t service our room while we were there, which is fine, I suppose.. what really bothered me was the fact they don’t provide shampoo or conditioner or even body wash at all, the lady at the front desk told me the recreation center where the pool is located had some for sale, to me this is just basic. I have never been to a hotel / resort where they don’t provide shampoo or conditioner, this was very odd to me. So please beware, if you’re traveling here, make sure you bring your own toiletries including shampoo. Plus they close everything at 9pm, if you come from a place like I did (Seattle), this can be super inconvenient, especially traveling with children after a long day at Silverwood. Overall out stay was okay, room was clean. While checking in the person helping us was sitting inside the office instead of getting up standing at the desk, I thought it was a bit strange, that really didn’t bother me, she was nice.

We've stayed at stoneridge resort multiple times, once a year for the past 5 years. Their golf course is amazing! They have lots of things for kids... putt putt golf, swimming pool, rec room, movie nights, etc. The pub/grill makes delicious food and drinks, and the new golf simulator is so cool! Close to spirit lake for more dining and shopping options, not too far from silverwood. Would highly recommend. :)

Nicole was amazing when we checked in, great room and we enjoyed eating at the golf course restaurant again, so good! When we checked out the same person that did our check out last time was there and she very rude both times. I can see they are all stressed but I won’t go back if that is how I’m treated.

Not convenient for Silverwood

When I booked this resort, I was under the impression it was a hotel. After booking, I received a confirmation email and instructions on how to check in. I found out that it was a timeshare-like situation. When reading about the amenities, it seemed as if mini-golfing was included in our stay, but upon checking in, we were informed that it was an additional charge. Parking was a hot mess when we arrived. The main purpose of our trip was to visit Silverwood, so we spent the day there and arrived in the evening at the resort. When arriving in the evening, all the parking spaces were taken, so I had to carry my sleeping toddlers on a bit of a walk. Inside the room, the sleeping sofa couch was not comfortable at all, and thin/ uneven. The showers only came with a bar of soap, so when I went to shower after a hot day at the park, I was disappointed. Lastly, if you are planning to stay here for Silverwood, keep in mind that there are ZERO stores or food within 45 minutes of Silverwood (besides Super 1, which is 5 minutes from Silverwood, 25 minutes from the resort). Over all the hotel itself is not horrible, it just was not what I thought I had booked, so I want others to know what to expect as well.

While an older property that might be a bit dated, the rate made the stay a bargain. The staff at the front desk was absolutely a joy to work with. I'll definitely be returning.
