Ground room was extremely noisy. Pluming in the room loud noise kept us up all night. This room had a jacuzzi we did not request. Breakfast was average. One and done.

Room had no cups for coffee, barely towels for one person Room did not have a working phone, tub was very old and dirt marks in it, vents were dusty Heat in room was very warm and could be adjusted or maybe wasn’t working. I liked that the front desk followed up on a complaint however issue started back. Did not like that there were no vending machines. The first floor paint peeling. Was not quiet. We will not be coming back.

Overall the staff was very welcoming and got us checked in quickly. The hotel was hot upon entering. Older hotel, maybe in the middle of renovations because the walls were pealing on the 1st floor. When we got in our room, we didn’t have enough towels and also there were some pants left under the counter where the towels were. I’m thinking the room couldn’t have been cleaned completely. I didn’t like that you couldn’t close the curtains which made it difficult to sleep with the light shining through. Overall it was quiet and a nice stay.

Under renovations

The hotel is in disarray from a poorly maintained renovation. Supplies littered hallways and rooms for vending machines. The first room didn’t have a functioning air conditioner. Ice makers broken on every level. The hotel staff were very kind and apologetic. She was able to move us to another room.

Very nice employees. Helpful and polite. Basic warm breakfast that was a great way to start the day. Hotel was under restoration so there was a lot going on. Great location to Veterans Park. Would stay again.

Upon arrival we were told our room had been transferred to the Sleep Inn. I was told that someone called and left me a voicemail (this did not happen) and the rooms there are actually better so we were getting a better deal. It was never explained to me why my room was transferred. The Sleep Inn was comparable to a Motel 6 which is not what we booked. It was older and they did not have pillows when we had to go back down to request bedding for the pull out bed as it was not in the room already. Not a great experience after a 4 hour drive.

The bed was hard as a rock. The electrical outlets didn't work. I booked a specific room but I didn't receive the room. I called the hotel several times but no one answered. The young lady at the desk kept having to go to the back to get the help she needed from the manager. There's a slip/fall hazard in the shower because they don't have any rails or mats in the shower. I will not be returning to their hotels.

Both front desk clerks (arrival and departure) were friendly. The housekeeper on our floor was friendly. The breakfast attendant was very friendly and helpful. This was our second stay here within four months. The hotel is clean, comfortable, affordable, easy to find/convenient, and the staff are very friendly. They are A in my opinion. We will stay here again .

Management needs help. Too much going on for one person to be in charge of at any given time. Was in town for a track meet at the university so that meant a lot of guests. The room I was upgraded to was appreciated until I entered to find that it was poorly cleaned and I woke to a bug that look like a baby centipede in the bed. I was feeling like something was touching my arm while I slept, guess it was this bug.

The hotel itself was hot but the roomed cooled nicely. We have to bath our kids with hand towels because no wash clothes were left in our room. When I went down to ask, the receptionist could only find 1 wash cloth. The shampoo and body wash was out in the shower dispenser. The room got cold and the bed was comfortable.
