It would have been nice to have been notified before booking that this property was under construction. The downstairs areas and elevator were obviously being used often for construction on the second floor. The room itself was updated and looked nice at first glance but there was hair on the bathroom floor and at the sides of the beds. Breakfast was lacking with only a couple of choices. The staff was nowhere to be found for check in until we finally yelled down the hall, and the breakfast staff was rude.

When I first arrived, the property looked nice from the outside, but I was unaware of the extensive construction happening. At check-in, I was informed that the water would be off from 2 PM to 7 PM. While I understand this might have been out of their control, it seemed to be a daily occurrence due to renovations on the second floor. A notice about this in advance would have been helpful, especially since I had three children with me. When the water was finally restored, the toilet in our room began leaking significantly from the base every time it was flushed. We had to use most of our towels to manage the mess. Additionally, our room was at the end of the building near a side entrance that was not secured, allowing anyone to enter the building at any time. To make matters worse, a restaurant or bar next door played loud music all night, which lasted until around 2 AM. Just as I finally started to get some sleep, a woman stood outside my window screaming and cursing on her phone. Later, when I went into the "kitchen area" and turned on the light, I found two roaches crawling on my belongings. At this point, I was completely disgusted. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but this experience left me no choice. After discussing it with friends, they agreed it was the right thing to do. I wish we could have left that night, but we had nowhere else to go, and the room was non-refundable. I would not recommend staying here under any circumstances.

A little disappointed

The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and respectful. The breakfast was not outstanding or unique. It was no better than nor as good as any other mediocre hotel. I did expect a better offering for breakfast, not powdered eggs nor dry creamer for coffee.
